Offered with immaculate and virtuous intellect, diligently at the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa. May there be auspiciousness! Whatever deeds you perform with your body, speech, and mind, Are for the benefit of beings and the teachings of the Sage, With the great wave of merit from your extraordinary intention, I bow to the one who holds the treasury of your wisdom. Possessing the adornment of the Vinaya precepts of the Shravakas, The Bodhisattva's precepts are naturally free from faults, The master who holds the saffron robes of liberation, I bow to the one who has obtained the fame of a great Vinaya holder. Gathering virtuous dharmas, benefiting sentient beings, Perfecting the body of merit, abstaining from all misdeeds, Always majestic with the ornament of discipline, I bow to the master who gathers the supreme assembly. Not distracted from teaching the sacred Dharma day and night, At night, with individual liberation and meditation, Free from attachment to desire, directly seeing emptiness, I prostrate with reverence to that hero. From the age of twenty-five to eighty-three, Teaching the Vinaya Sutra, including commentaries, and the Treasury of Abhidharma, One hundred and eight complete commentaries each, You have upheld the teachings, I bow to you. Merely seeing you symbolizes Bodhicitta, Relying on you for a long time will naturally tame one's mind. You are the great translator, deliberately Born for the benefit of beings, as your assembly Of Dharma followers have no doubt, I prostrate to you who demonstrates this. From your youth, the Five minor sciences effortlessly, You knew, and of all of them, You composed commentaries, I prostrate to you. Especially, The great translator, in grammar and logic, Established the tradition of demonstrating skill, Composing many collections of commentaries on grammar and logic, I prostrate to you. Having accomplished the power of many activities of Yama and Dharma protectors, Having obtained the skill to destroy the armies of obstacles, Praised by all, I prostrate and praise! In the snowy land of Tibet, among the many who have become Famous as scholars, With abundant words as ornaments, Skilled in reasoning, I prostrate and praise! In the central region of Tibet, spreading grammar and Treatises on poetics, With empowerments and instructions, the assembly of students Matured countless and became skilled. Your foot dust is stainless, The great ones who protect the great earth, And those who gained fame as scholars at that time, Are revered by all, I prostrate and praise! Thus, maturing them with empowerment, May I attain the place of the teacher who has heard the Treatises on the Tripitaka, Dharma, and terminology, With praise! Bo Dongpa Panchen Lodan Zhipa. Within the enclosure of the completely pure discipline. A system that can never be transgressed. Worthy of praise by all, I supplicate. Gathering many beings under one's power with the force of love. Eliminating the poverty of those to be tamed with the strength of compassion. Liberating beings with great conduct. I supplicate the great Bodhisattva. As an emanation of the Buddhas of the three times, Rongton, Wielding power over the profound and vast Dharma throne. Enthroned as the master of the boundless teachings. I supplicate the holy spiritual friend. Within the treasury of the heart of glorious Kunga. With the excellent path of the powerful Vajrayana. Bestowing the glory of the nectar of the two siddhis. I supplicate the all-pervading Vajradhara. With thousands of streams of empowerment and instruction. Having refreshed the vast and boundless depths of the mind.
