Then, even if reborn in samsara, one will not be defiled by karma, afflictions, and demons. The reason for not being defiled is that one does not hope for the ripening fruit of the three karmas such as meritorious deeds. The reason for not being defiled is that one does not take rebirth due to the causes of grasping existence, but takes birth due to the power of compassion and aspiration. The second example is, just as the sun and the moon, not for their own benefit, but for the benefit of others, run unobstructed in the sky, so too, Bodhisattvas who engage in the conduct of Bodhisattvas take birth with the intention of benefiting others. Why are they not defiled by samsara and do not hope for ripening fruits? Because they are liberated from the actions of karma, afflictions, and demons. That is, because of diligently practicing the pāramitās. The second part is divided into two aspects: the way to achieve happiness for sentient beings, and the aspiration to don the great armor. The first part is further divided into the way to achieve happiness and the way to achieve benefit. First, may the Buddha's field be as vast as the ocean, and may all the sufferings of hell in all directions be completely pacified, and may all beings who have fallen into evil realms be placed in the happiness of the heavens. Secondly, may all beings in happy and unhappy realms enjoy the benefit of the sacred Dharma that is appropriate to their respective capacities. The second part is divided into three aspects: perfecting the Buddha's Dharma, acting in accordance with the conduct of sentient beings, and the armor of abiding in the sacred Dharma. First, it is to don the armor with the intention of perfecting the conduct of unsurpassed Bodhi. The word 'and' is a word to introduce the following. Secondly, it is to act in accordance with the conduct of the minds of sentient beings, that is, to show the corresponding conduct according to their respective capacities and desires. Thirdly, it is to fully explain and show the conduct of Samantabhadra to all those who are to be tamed. 'In all future kalpas' is to combine the above three, and 'act' is a clear indication of the end. The third part is about considering both intention and action. It is divided into three aspects: the wish of how to rely on good friends and spiritual friends, then the wish to uphold the sacred Dharma properly and truly, and then the wish to obtain the treasure of merits.

Wishing to be the holder of the treasury of merit: May the power of relying on spiritual friends and upholding the sacred Dharma transform my own wisdom into a treasury of merit. Because it is the source of all qualities. Why is it called a 'treasury'? Because it has the meaning of inexhaustible qualities. Therefore, it is called 'treasury'. Similarly, here too, through obtaining the inexhaustible accumulation of merit and wisdom, it is also called 'treasury'. What is that? It is the means of compassion and so forth, and the wisdom of realizing emptiness, and the samadhi such as the Akashagarbha (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) and what is called 'liberation'. The 'liberation' here does not refer to the eight liberations or the three liberations, but to the liberation of the Bodhisattva. What is that? It is the unimpeded liberation of great compassion and the liberation of illusion. Thus, for the benefit of all beings, may I become the holder of the inexhaustible treasury of merit, which is the common treasury of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Purifying the Buddha-field: Second, wishing to purify the Buddha-field, which is divided into two parts: viewing the ocean-like Buddha-field, viewing the ocean-like Buddhas, entering their sphere of activity, and after entering, purifying the future Buddha-field. Viewing the ocean-like Buddha-field, viewing the ocean-like Buddhas, and entering their sphere of activity: The first part is divided into two parts: viewing the ocean-like Buddhas, and entering their sphere of activity after entering the Buddha-field. First is viewing: I will view the inconceivable Buddhas, who reside in the midst of the Bodhisattva assembly. How to view? Practicing for the sake of unsurpassed Bodhi. What is the inconceivable scene like? On a single atom, there reside Buddha-fields equal to the number of atoms, and in each of those fields, there are Buddhas equal to the number of atoms, and each Buddha is surrounded by countless Bodhisattva assemblies. The second part is divided into two parts: entering the Buddha-field and entering the ocean-like sphere of activity. First is entering the Buddha-field: Just as the Buddha-field resides on a single atom, in all directions, even in a space as small as the tip of a hair, in an instant, on each atom, practicing the Buddhas of the three times, equal to the number of atoms, and the ocean-like Buddha-field, and entering the ocean-like sphere of activity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
