善行即是普贤行(kun tu bzang po'i spyod pa)。

Completely filling all that is limitless. Offering these offerings, to all the Victorious Ones equal to the number of dust motes, offering with devotion in mind. Second is, I prostrate and make offerings to all the Victorious Ones. Through what means? Through the power of faith in the practice of the Good (bzang po spyod pa). The practice of the Good is the practice of Samantabhadra (kun tu bzang po'i spyod pa). From the cloud of offerings arising from this liberation, with the power of faith, devotion, and trust, transforming it in accordance with that, with the mind, and offering. By offering in this way, afflictions, miserliness, and the sins accumulated from them will be purified. Next is the confession of sins. Third is the confession of sins. Confessing individually. What is confessed? All the sins that I have committed. Who is the confessor? It is I. How many are these sins? The three sins committed by body, speech, and mind. To establish it as a sin, what kind of motivation is needed to drive it? 'By the power of desire, hatred, and ignorance,' that is, it must be driven by either of these two temporal motivations. And the root motivation may also be virtuous. Such a case is called 'doing evil with a good intention.' How to confess? 'Upon a single mote of dust' etc., quoted here. In their presence, confessing, this is merely a nominal statement, its meaning is: regretting what was done in the past, and generating the determination to abstain from evil in the future. Then, what is the difference between disclosure ('thol ba) and confession? Expressing a fault as a fault with a mind that does not conceal the fault is disclosure. It prevents the fault of concealment from arising, and it also does not allow the fault to increase. Because if one does not disclose, the root fault, together with the fault of concealment, will increase twofold each day, as stated in the Bodhisattva Pitaka (byang chub sems dpa'i sde snod). Confession not only purifies the nature of the fault itself, but also purifies the obscurations of the afflictions called concealment and the actions motivated by them. Then, does confession remove the seed of the fault, or does it postpone the maturation of the result? It is the latter. Because as long as the truth has not been seen, one cannot remove the seed of what should be abandoned. Therefore, the meaning of confessing sins is the meaning of vomiting sins. 'Individually' means clearly recognizing each category without mixing them up. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It means 'confession'. Or it means the initial confession, which is to vomit without hesitation. Or it means the supreme confession, which is motivated by any of the three roots of virtue to vomit. Fourth, Rejoicing: Rejoicing is the basis for explaining rejoicing. To whom? To all the Buddhas of the ten directions and all their Buddha-sons, and all their Pratyekabuddhas, and all their Shravaka learners and non-learners, and all the merits done by all ordinary beings. How? Following all of them. By whom? By me. Here too, add 'I rejoice' separately, and if you rejoice in each moment for all of them, it will increase. If you think that 'all beings' is repeated with the previous ones, it is not so, because the meaning of 'beings' here is that beings who go to samsara with craving. But for Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and some Buddha-sons, they are not beings because they do not have it. This is how the commentators explain it. Thus, it also explains the meaning of 'whether beings go or do not go'. This fourth limb purifies the faults based on the affliction of jealousy. Rejoicing refers to the root of virtue without jealousy, not because others rejoice. Because there is no root of 'mind' here. The fifth limb is to request the turning of the wheel of Dharma. To request the turning of which wheel? To request the turning of the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma. To whom to request? To all those protectors. How? 'Who' is a general term, but it is related to 'lamp of the world'. Because it is not biased, it is called 'who', and 's' refers to many. Because it eliminates the darkness of the world, it is called the lamp of the world. What kind of lamp is it? 'Gradually enlightened to Bodhi' refers to enlightenment to unsurpassed Bodhi. What are their characteristics? 'Attained without attachment' refers to those who do not attach to anything, abide in the nature of Dharma, and do not enjoy teaching the Dharma. By whom is the request made? By me. How is the request made? The following 'palms together' should be raised here. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
