有一个叫喇嘛名声的，将要成为我自己的法主。他们不让我住下，而是提供了粮食、驮马等便利。十九日那天，名声将我送到了索格的衮却次仁的山上。他借给我一匹好马，二十五日那天我到了仲敦。那天像是要死了一样，非常痛苦。这时来了一个僧人，说是转世活佛派来的，说你们父母要安住于誓言。话音刚落，一道红光就笼罩了我的意识，因此我复活了。上师说，你为什么这样做？以前不是约定过，我们父母的寿命不会受因缘摆布吗？德瓦多吉说，是的，以前就像言语上彼此都不存在一样，说着就哭了。上师心想，我把意愿寄托于净土这件事，他好像明白了，但又不像。上师说，你为什么这么担心？如果我们觉得路途遥远，如果嘉赛（王子）喜欢，拉章（官邸）可以让你住一两年。 如果能永久居住，我会非常高兴，绝不会有丝毫反对。说了许多大话。所以，不必为此担心。德瓦多吉说，我不是那样想的。您总是把意愿寄托于净土。 我们所有的追随者，好像您不关心我们，要让我们受因缘摆布一样，心里非常痛苦。特别是关于我，拉章会怎么说呢？于是他清楚地说了以前的所有原因。上师说，谁说你那样了？德瓦多吉说，如果不是世间的人，那肯定不是。之后，父母两人说了许多关于世俗和佛法的话。上师也像以前约定的一样，说不会把意愿寄托于净土。当时，德瓦多吉有一个从仲敦得到的宝箧，是用沙金做成的，他把它献给了上师，作为吉祥的缘起，并留在了那里。

There was a lama named Fame who was going to become my own Dharma master. They didn't let me stay, but provided facilities such as grain and packhorses. On the 19th, Fame sent me to the mountain of Konchok Tsering in Sog. He lent me a good horse, and on the 25th I arrived at Drongdun. That day it felt like I was going to die, and I was in great pain. Then a monk came and said that he was sent by the reincarnated lama, saying that your parents must abide by their vows. As soon as he finished speaking, a red light enveloped my consciousness, and as a result, I was resurrected. The master said, why are you doing this? Didn't we agree before that our parents' lives would not be subject to circumstances? Dewa Dorje said, yes, it was as if we didn't exist for each other in words before, and he cried. The master thought, he seems to understand that I have entrusted my wishes to the Pure Land, but it doesn't seem like it. The master said, why are you so worried? If we feel the journey is far, if Gyalsay (the prince) likes it, the Labrang (mansion) can let you stay for a year or two. If you can live permanently, I will be very happy and will not object in the slightest. He said a lot of big words. So, there is no need to worry about this. Dewa Dorje said, I didn't think that way. You always entrust your wishes to the Pure Land. It seems that you don't care about all of us followers and want to let us be subject to circumstances, so I feel very painful. Especially about me, what will the Labrang say? So he clearly stated all the reasons from before. The master said, who said that to you? Dewa Dorje said, if it's not a worldly person, then it certainly isn't. After that, both parents said a lot about worldly affairs and Dharma. The master also said, as agreed before, that he would not entrust his wishes to the Pure Land. At that time, Dewa Dorje had a treasure box made of gold sand that he had obtained from Drongdun, and he offered it to the master as an auspicious omen and stayed there.
