Sa said, "Why do the maids need to do that? We can buy letters if we have money. Why would a king's daughter like you wander around aimlessly?" When we returned home and the maids told my mother that the letters had fallen into the water, my mother didn't say anything but sat there with a dark face. I was very scared and wondered what to do. My mother said, "Don't hold on to wrong thoughts. You will surely have to commit suicide in many lives." I didn't say anything and went to study letters as before. From then on, that terrifying woman controlled me all the time, and it was as if I had no freedom in anything I did. Then, on the tenth day of the twelfth month, when I went to Yerpa Zla ba phug to offer a tsok with the seven officials in front of Guru like me, in the early morning there was a mountain called Lha ri mgo that looked like a mandala. Many children went to the top of the mountain together. On the way, there was a precious kila with three faces and six arms, about a span high, on top of a large rock. When I pulled it up with both hands, I could only reach about four or five fingers. All the other children came there and said that Padma sgron dkar was stabbing a kila into the rock, and everyone laughed loudly. I was also doubtful and went back and told my father that there was such a thing. My father said, "Go back and bring it to me." I went to look for the kila according to my father's order, and I saw the woman from before dancing on the rock. I didn't dare to go there and went back to my father and told him the story. My father said, "That woman is the karma deity of your lifetimes, why are you afraid of her? You didn't accomplish a great thing this time. Tomorrow you go alone and search all the caves, and bring me whatever you find." I said, "Yes." I told my mother that I didn't dare to go to the caves alone, but my father had ordered me to go, so what should I do? My mother said, "I shouldn't say anything to the master, and it's not bad to obey your father's orders." I (to) the woman

I asked if there was anything scary. My mother said that the woman had gone to Lhasa yesterday, so she wouldn't come to you. I believed it because I was young. One morning, I secretly went to explore the rock cave with the other children. A beautiful woman I didn't recognize, wearing gorgeous clothes, came and asked, "Friend, where are you going? Where are you from?" I said, "I am going to explore the rock cave according to my father's instructions." She said, "I will help you go together." Then she came with me to a place. We arrived at a large rock cave called "Yerka Dzong" (possibly referring to the rock cave near Reting Monastery in present-day Linzhou County, Lhasa). There was a huge rock at the entrance of the cave. There was a light shining inside. She said, "Friend, take a look inside and see what it's like?" When I looked, there was an Avalokiteśvara father and mother statue made of precious wood, about the size of an eight-year-old child. I asked, "What is this?" She said, "Friend, don't you recognize it?" I said, "Of course I recognize Avalokiteśvara father and mother, but I don't know why they are here." She also said, "If you had obtained the vajra dagger the other day, you could have obtained this now, what's so difficult? Now there is no way to obtain this, take these pills from the crevice of the rock on the other side and offer them to your father. If your previous auspicious connections are successful, you will obtain the autonomous property of the three places from Samye Monastery. Although Ü-Tsang are both your areas of taming, let's just leave it at that this time. You will go to Dokham in the east to accomplish your work in no more than fourteen or fifteen years." After saying that, the woman disappeared without a trace. I didn't know what those words meant, but I took those pills བྃ༔ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese Meaning) and offered them to my father, who was very pleased. He put those pills in a small red sandalwood box, wrapped the box with five-colored silk, placed it in the center of the mandala, and held a grand feast offering. I also asked my mother, "What are these pills?" My mother said, "Are these pills the flesh of Brahmins? The master needs to practice the nectar dharma medicine, but he can't find the flesh of seven generations of Brahmins. I heard that it is in Drak Yerpa, is that it?"
