It is said that it is useful to conduct detailed investigations and necessary consultations. Then, in the year when I was eight years old, a holy person named "Changzhong Drubthop Rinpoche," who was widely known as the head lama of eighteen Han Chinese officials and the reincarnation of the great accomplished Thangtong Gyalpo, I, along with my parents and some officials and servants, went to his residence. Then, the lama said, "It is good that you have come. The auspiciousness is excellent, so you must stay here for a while." And he provided abundant services such as guesthouses. Then, gradually, my parents told him all of my history in detail. The lama said, "This girl is the unmistaken reincarnation of Sakya's Hayagriva, so she is not suitable for either marriage or monasticism. When the time comes, her nature will awaken, so in the meantime, let her be as she pleases." Again, my mother pleaded, "This girl is so loving to the people that it is difficult to suppress her desire to be a leader. If it is okay to be a nun, she herself also desires to be in seclusion." The lama said, "This girl has a mission, so I don't know if she will manage your people. This time, let her do as she pleases for a year or so, and it will become clear." I was too young to say anything, but I felt in my heart that I seemed to have to rule the country, so I was sad and cried. The lama gave me a white crystal and said, "Don't cry, your wish will surely be fulfilled according to the Dharma." Then he made a hint and a response, which I understood, and I thought, "He is a wise person." They gave blessings and refuge, etc., and we returned to our own place. Then, in the sixth month of that year, while going to the offering to the glorious goddess Shri Devi, and going to the temple to see the deities, when Tara was receiving the offering scarf, her face བྃ༔ (Tibetan), वं(Sanskrit Devanagari), vam(Sanskrit Romanization), seed syllable. showed a smile, and her body trembled, which became a sight for all to see. I myself also felt a change in perception, and I thought that Tara herself had taken me in and given me blessings. From then on, I prayed to Tara with one-pointed devotion, and I naturally learned the Twenty-One Taras Praise. After that, my mother thought that this girl should learn Tibetan, but my father did not allow it, saying that she should learn Chinese first.

I was sent to a secretary who was very proficient in both Tibetan and Chinese to learn Chinese. I felt frustrated, but I couldn't tell my father. I bowed to my mother and said, 'Yes, I have absolutely no desire to study Chinese, but my father insists.' Mother, apart from my attachment to you, once I lose you, I will never study Han-Tibetan writing, nor will I become an official. I have made up my mind about this. My mother also felt sad and prayed to the Lama Three Jewels, saying, 'You must not misbehave. This time, you must obey your father's orders.' So I was sent to learn Chinese. I also followed my parents' orders and went to study writing with my friends. I learned better than the other friends, and the villagers said, 'This princess will surely become an official, she is very wise.' Then one day, I thought to myself, no matter what I do, I must do the things of the eight worldly concerns, such as conquering enemies and protecting relatives and friends. A bad body like mine is better off without it, so I threw the writing into the water. I thought of jumping into the water myself, so I cried out to Guru Padmasambhava and Jetsun Tara, praying: 'Alas! Refuge of all, Orgyen Padmasambhava, Mother Tsoyal, Jetsun Arya Tara, I pray, please look upon me with compassion. This woman's body is the root of samsara. After abandoning this impure and defiled bad body, please bless me to obtain a leisure and endowment body. May I meet the Dharma immediately after birth, and may I have the freedom to practice the Dharma properly.' Having said that, I jumped into the water. བྃ༔ (Tibetan) When ready, an ugly and terrifying woman appeared, saying, 'Before you jump into the water, I must kill you!' Saying this, she rushed out with a sword in her hand. Because I was young, I shouted 'Mother' three times loudly. My servants heard it and quickly rushed to the river, suddenly asking, 'Princess, why did you call out for mother?' I lied and said, 'My writing was washed away by the water, so I called out for mother.' Now I dare not tell my father, I must flee to another place.
