Upon seeing, one is naturally liberated. Thus, having attained the six qualities of the youthful vase body and the six dharmas of Kuntuzangpo, gaining mastery over the ground, one manifests as the pure Buddha of the ground. That is so. How does delusion occur on the path of impure samsara? It is the appearance of gaining mastery over the ground, etc. When the wind that arises as the life of wisdom and the wisdom of compassion are mixed (note), and it becomes a horse, and the five lights clearly arise outward, that wisdom is obscured by ignorance, namely, the ignorance of the single self-nature as the cause, and the co-emergent ignorance because the five lights are not recognized as self-appearance, and the imputed ignorance that separates objects and subjects. These three ignorances are the cause's condition. Also, if the four conditions are distinguished separately, the ground itself appearing as five lights is the cause's condition, wisdom in the aspect of discernment is the lord's condition, and separating objects and subjects is the object's condition. When the three occur simultaneously, the appearance of samsara suddenly increases, which is the immediate condition, these are the four conditions. As before, since the three ignorances are the cause and the immediate one is the condition, there are also those who posit three causes as four conditions. Kunkyen Jigme Lingpa said: The ground abiding like a house is the cause's condition. The arising of conceptual thought upon it is the lord's condition. From that, objects and subjects are the object's condition. The three simultaneous ones are the immediate condition. As it is said. Here, not recognizing the five lights as self-appearance, because the self-nature of the pure Buddha of the ground is not recognized, all the bodies and wisdom of the ground's natural radiance are submerged in the inner radiance. The outer radiance shifts outward, and the manner in which the five lights arise is as follows: Here, when the Dharmadhatu wisdom is obscured by ignorance, the natural radiance, all the displays of the body and wisdom of the five self-existing lights are the body and wisdom of inner radiance and inner clarity (note), submerged within it. The outer radiance arises outward, which is the appearance of blue light. That is also inner arising, and it is also the purity of arising space, and it is also the great element. When true clinging and substantial clinging arise towards that light, thinking it is blue, arising is also space, also outer arising, also small arising, arising is impurity.
