Therefore, mastering freedom in the realm of dharmata is the activity of power; liberating all the arising enemies, demons, and obstacles of the dualistic clinging of grasper and grasped into the realm of awareness and dharmata is the fierce activity, and the four activities are spontaneously accomplished. The reason for this, etc., is like a descent. One must understand the reason for this as it is, and differentiate between mind and awareness, because without understanding the reason for this, many people simply use unconstructed awareness as the path, but without giving predictions to external appearances, they cling to things with characteristics; without giving predictions to the inner self, they cling to the clinging to permanence as real, and wander in the vows of bondage, being in a state where the clear and aware awareness is not cut off, many people cling to the vows of meditation and practice, like a drop of water trapped in ice. Or like freezing due to the invasion of cold wind, or like evaporating into water due to heat, there is no certainty. Even if one gains stability in this, it is the form realm and the formless realm, although it is the merit of being born in the upper two realms, one cannot attain the state of liberation and omniscience, because one is bound by the fault of not realizing emptiness and view. All phenomena included in samsara and nirvana are of the same taste in the state of suchness of dharmata, and knowing the state of non-different equality and pure equality as it is, is as it is. Ah! Remaining in the nature of knowing wisdom and awareness, it is not something that is ignorant and hopeless, but it is not contaminated by objects, does not cling to objects, does not cut off objects, and is not transformed by objects, which is the knowledge of suchness. Because awareness is self-born primordial wisdom, the co-emergent and co-knowing awareness does not stop, and does not enter external objects, like a drop of mercury falling on the ground. Mind is the nature of samsara and nirvana, seeing it as truly established, and clinging to appearances as the root of ignorance. The mental discriminations that arise from this are the law of arising and ceasing, mixed with objects, contaminated by objects, clinging to objects, cutting off objects, and being transformed by objects, like a drop of water falling on dry land. The initial general basis is like the sky, the essence is emptiness, the nature is clarity, and the compassion.

It has the ability to manifest anything. From the aspect of that basis's own nature, the network of wind, light, and five rays of light causes the spontaneous manifestation of the five lights to arise. When it appears outwardly as the basis of essence, from the aspect of compassion, a subtle consciousness capable of discerning objects arises, which is also called immature awareness. If you recognize it, you will attain the state of enlightenment upwards; if you do not recognize it, you will be thrown downwards into the realm of the three realms of samsara. Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) realized that the first moment of consciousness arose as awareness, and in the second moment, he realized that the five lights were self-manifesting. In the third moment, he dissolved into the ground, and through the ultimate completion of the two benefits, he manifested the state of Buddha Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra). It also possesses the six characteristics of the youthful vase body. The six characteristics are: transcendence from the ground, appearance in one's own nature, differentiating, liberation in action, not arising from others, and abiding in one's own place. Transcendence from the ground is: transcendence from the alaya, appearing as the wheel of the five lights spontaneously accomplished, therefore it is transcendence from the ground. The appearance of the five lights as the self-nature of awareness is appearance in one's own nature, and recognizing the five lights as self-manifesting, thus distinguishing the moment of delusion and liberation, therefore it is differentiating. Gaining certainty in action and becoming a Buddha, therefore it is liberation in action. Because all the wisdom and qualities, including the twenty-five qualities of the fruit, are complete in oneself, therefore not arising from others. Merely appearing as an unindicated state of the ground, but in reality, the state of the Buddha abiding in his own place is manifested, therefore it is abiding in his own place, possessing these six characteristics. The way in which Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) attained the six dharmas is: not arising from the mind, without having to immediately abandon all the thoughts of the mind and mental factors, not abiding in the ground, but becoming enlightened on one's own in one's own state. Not arising from the scriptures, there is no other guru to teach the oral instructions, but the self-born wisdom of awareness itself appears as instruction. Not arising from causes, Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) did not perform even a speck of contaminated virtue, but in his own state, the qualities of the fruit were perfected and liberated. It is self-manifesting, the wheel of the five lights spontaneously accomplished appears as the self-nature of awareness. It is self-arising, awareness itself arises as the five lights. It is self-liberating, awareness itself liberates itself.
