and so on, all round things are not called "head". If you think that pointing upwards is called "head", then if you point to the sky above and below, the sky has no above and below. If you think that the blue color is the top, then most of the scriptures say that the light of the southern lapis lazuli of Mount Sumeru shines on the ocean, and the light appears blue in the air. Some scriptures also say that the sky is a deep blue color. For example, small water appears gray, and it is gray when placed in a container. Slightly deeper water appears blue, but when placed in a container, it is still gray, not blue. Very deep water appears blue-black, but when placed in a container, it is still gray, not blue-black. Similarly, the sky appears blue because it is very deep. Therefore, if you think that the above mentioned here is false, then you should know that the Dharma spoken by the Perfectly Complete Buddha also has circumstances such as following the times, following the occasion, and following sentient beings, so it is not absolutely certain. Although most sutras and treatises say that killing parents is an unforgivable crime, in the letter to dispel King Ajatasatru's sorrow, it says: "Father and mother, craving should be killed, The king, the pure consciousness of all foundations, both, The view of the perishable and the view of discipline, holding supreme, When destroying the country together with its retinue, mind and mental events." "That person becomes pure." Just like this, there is no reason why there must be a definite up and down direction. So, if you think that on top of the basis of the head, there is an entity that can exist independently, then hair is only called hair, not head. The tip of the hair is called the tip of the hair, and the waist of the hair is called the waist of the hair. The root of the hair is called the root of the hair. Skin is called skin, not head. Bone is called bone, not head. Brain is called brain, not head. Similarly, the eye is called the eye, the ear is called the ear, the nose is called the nose, and the tongue is called the tongue, none of which are the head. Separated like this, none of them are the head, but if you think that gathering together is called the head, then the head of a living being...

Having cut it into dust, the dust is further divided into fine dust, and the fine dust is ground into indivisible particles, even if shown to the people of the southern continent of Jambudvipa, it can only be said to be dust, not a head. Similarly, the mud mixed with water can only be said to be mud, not a head. Then, is the head seen during the day and the head seen in a dream one or two? If it is one, then last night's Auspicious! In a dream, the swelling on your head caused by being hit by stones and sticks, and the wounds caused by swords, should also be present on the head during the day today, but that is not the case. Or if you think it is different, then there are three hundred and sixty days in a year, three hundred and sixty nights, a total of seven hundred and twenty days and nights. Therefore, there should also be seven hundred and twenty heads. If they exist, they should be stacked on top of each other like stacked palm leaves, or stacked inside and outside like layers of bark. If they exist, they should be clearly visible to the eyes, able to be truly grasped by the hands, and manifest in the sensory doors, but that is not the case. Therefore, one should understand that the word "head" is merely an expression, and the object of expression does not exist, just as it is. Similarly, the eye is also like that, etc., which illustrates this point. Similarly, if one thinks that there is a solid entity established on the basis of the eye, then for the eye, two blisters cannot be called eyes, the skin cannot be called eyes, only skin, tears cannot be called eyes, only tears, eye veins cannot be called eyes, only eye veins, blood cannot be called eyes, only blood. For these, one can only say their respective names, and not eyes. Thus, if one thinks that being separated cannot be called eyes, but being gathered together can be called eyes, then take the eye of an animal, grind it into dust, the dust is further divided into fine dust, and the fine dust is turned into indivisible particles, even if shown to the people of the southern continent of Jambudvipa, it can only be said to be dust, not eyes. Similarly, the mud mixed with water can only be said to be mud, not eyes. If one thinks that it is called an eye because it can see things, then take the eyes of many dead animals and place them in the eye socket of a blind animal, it should be able to see things.
