It is the action. To practice this meaning properly, there are four ways: establishing the foundation with view, practicing the path with meditation, showing the accompanying behavior of the two, and the way the fruit manifests. First, the way to establish the foundation with view is like the posture of a great Garuda swooping down. For example, when the king of the Garuda bird searches for food on the ground, he first flies to the middle bird path in the sky, carefully observes whether there are guardians and rescuers for that food, and after confirming that there are none, he enjoys that food without hesitation. This is like searching for practice from the view. Non-existence and Uniqueness. Dispersion. By means of the four ways of spontaneous accomplishment, all the dharmas included in the phenomenal existence of samsara and nirvana are completely established. To realize the sphere of equality of the three bodies as it is, is the most important key. Among them, the first is non-existence, etc. It is done. Among them, the first is to establish the principle of non-existence, there are two: establishing the apprehended person as non-self, and establishing the apprehended dharma as non-self. Among them, the first is to establish the apprehended person as non-self. The definition of a person is: being filled with the two obscurations and their habitual tendencies, so it is "filled"; being the basis of the contaminated aggregates of grasping, so it is "deep". The so-called "self" refers to the awareness that appears as existent to the non-self during the day, in dreams, in the intermediate state, and in future lives, this dormant habitual tendency is called the self of the person. Immediately after that, the awareness of grasping onto the non-self as self, and grasping onto the non-self as self, that dormant habitual tendency, is clarified by subsequent awareness and conceptualization, making it stable and clinging, this is called grasping onto the self-grasping of the person. In this way, the awareness of grasping onto the self, its cause is the sole nature of ignorance; from that, the awareness of ignorance grasping onto objects and subjects separately, is co-emergent ignorance; from that, all the dharmas that appear as outer and inner environments and beings are named separately, meanings are grasped separately, and things are clung to separately, this is called conceptual ignorance. The actions of the three types of ignorance cause the three realms to appear as samsara.

The cause of being bound to samsara is the demon of "I" and "mine," as the accomplished master Karma Lingpa said, "The demon of I and mine is the great demon of the three realms of samsara." Therefore, the root of I and mine must be severed. So, "I," etc., must be traced back to the origin. Then, is this so-called "I" like falling from the sky? If the sky is me, then I am born from me. Just as dust is born from earth, a drop of water from water, a spark from fire, and a cool breeze from wind, if the sky is me, then I am born from me. If the sky is not me, then I will not be born from me; if the earth is not earth, dust will not be born; if water is not water, a drop of water will not be born; if fire is not fire, a spark will not be born; if wind is not wind, a cool breeze will not be born. If the sky is not me, then I will not be born. Then, is it from the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind that I am born? If earth, water, fire, and wind are me, then I am born from me. Just as dust is born from earth, a drop of water from water, a spark from fire, and a cool breeze from wind, if the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind are me, then I am born from me. If earth, water, fire, and wind are not me, then I will not be born from me; if the earth is not earth, dust will not be born; if water is not water, a drop of water will not be born; if fire is not fire, a spark will not be born; if wind is not wind, a cool breeze will not be born. If the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind are not me, then I will not be born. Similarly, I am not born from the external five elements. Then, is it from tangible things that I am born? It is impossible for an intangible I to be born from tangible things. If I am a tangible thing, then I should have a shape, color, etc., that can be directly seen by the eyes and truly grasped by the hands, but these do not exist. Then, is it from the inner self that I am born? From the tip of the hair on the head to the tip of the toenails on the feet, carefully observing and analyzing, one cannot find a place that says, "It was born from here." Therefore, the so-called "I" must first be traced back to the origin without a source. The middle dwelling, etc., is certain. Then, is there really a middle dwelling? I do not dwell in the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind. If I dwell in them, then when these elements are decomposed, I should feel an inner sting, but this is not the case. Nor is it in the inner self.
