It is certain that the great certainty that samsara and nirvana are the great emptiness is the unsurpassed heart of compassion and bodhichitta that plays equally in samsara and nirvana. If you know the key and nature of meditation as it is, but decide that it is enough, and cling to the activities of samsara, and waste your life with various actions of attachment and aversion, then all meditation will be overwhelmed by the actions of samsara. The appearance of experience is that the mind and consciousness are not the same as before, and there is a feeling of happiness and lightness that is projected into the desire realm, a clear and shimmering feeling that is projected into the form realm, and an empty experience that is projected into the four formless realms, non-conceptual, looking inward, at a loss, like a deep sleep without memory or knowledge. If you have no knowledge of the view of emptiness, and you are satisfied with the mere fact that the mind is empty and not substantial, and you focus on emptiness, then this is the peak of existence, and the view of being projected into the realm of non-perception. In addition, external phenomena such as the magic of gods and demons, droughts and bad omens, and various magic appear in the realm of the senses; internal phenomena such as various diseases and pains appear in the body; and secret phenomena such as uncertain happiness and suffering arise in the mind. If you recognize all of these as flaws in the false experience and make a decision, it will disappear on its own. If the clinging to truth and the state of hope and doubt become firm, it will become a cause and condition for death, such as madness, epilepsy, and fainting; if you are under the control of clinging to the appearance of gods and the appearance of demons, it will cause the great meditator to fall into ordinariness. He said, and disappeared invisibly. Again, for a while, in the charnel ground of the ultimate Ogmin (Shambhala Pure Land) of self-appearance, when I met Zur Chung Sherab Drakpa from the mountain burning with flames. I said: Alas, Lama! Please grant me the essence of your heart, a concise and meaningful pith instruction. He replied: Alas, listen, good man, whose karma and aspirations have matured from countless eons ago! If you want to attain the state of omniscient Buddhahood, you must rely on the Lama with unwavering devotion in all your actions, and you must maintain love and joy for your Dharma brothers and sisters, and constantly purify your mind.
