In summary, one should cultivate pure perception with devotion, regarding the Lama as the Buddha, taking everything he says as the ultimate truth, and seeing everything he does as a teaching. One should always cherish and never be separated from one's Vajra brothers and sisters, like one's own heart, and treat them with affection and care. As it says in the 'Fearsome Lightning': 'With compassion for Vajra siblings, whether close or not, all are siblings. For those who have entered the true path, one should treat them with offerings and restraint. These thoughts should always be abandoned. Exert the strength of love and compassion, and look upon each other as eyes.' Therefore, until one attains liberation and the complete enlightenment of Buddhahood, one must associate with Vajra brothers and sisters. It is crucial that compassion and vows are not diminished. If they are diminished, oneself and others will fall into lower realms. Therefore, one must protect the vows properly and strive to cultivate compassion. Third, cultivate compassion for sentient beings: All sentient beings, as vast as the sky, have at one time been our parents. These sentient beings who were once our parents are suffering due to the delusion of their own karmic appearances, without even a moment of happiness. In order to purify their karmic appearances, habitual tendencies, and suffering, and to attain the precious state of complete and perfect enlightenment, I generate the supreme Bodhicitta and vow to completely excavate the ocean of the three realms of samsara. Like a courageous king, from the depths of my heart, for the benefit of all sentient beings, I abandon the mind that thinks of oneself and cultivate compassion. As the Doha of the venerable Saraha says: 'Looking at emptiness without compassion, one will not find the supreme path. If one only cultivates compassion, how can one be liberated from this samsara? Whoever possesses both of these, does not abide in existence or non-existence.' As it is said, loving-kindness, compassion, and Bodhicitta are indispensable for practitioners. Whatever path one practices, they are like the main trunk, so one must practice them properly. Fourth, cultivate renunciation of samsara: Wherever we are born in samsara, whether high, low, or intermediate, it is the nature of suffering.

The waves of suffering. Since it is nothing but being unable to escape the delusion of suffering, thinking about how there is no essence in the affairs of samsara, abandoning all the activities of this life, such as subduing enemies and protecting relatives, and making a firm vow to only practice the sacred Dharma, one must be alone in a secluded place, making life and practice one. Otherwise, if you are attached to things like the city of Gandharvas, such as being close or distant, attached to food, clothing, and enjoyment, it will become the cause of being born in high or low places, and there will be no opportunity to obtain happiness, and you will have to endure only suffering. As Orgyen (Padmasambhava) said, "Even the tip of a needle in samsara, there is never any happiness. Even if there is a little happiness, there is the suffering of change." Therefore, completely cut off the thought of the affairs of samsara, and strive to practice the sacred Dharma alone is the most important thing. Fifth, meditating on the impermanence of conditioned things: The external appearance of the vessel world is solid and dense, the internal moving sentient beings are numerous, and the middle five desires are beautifully arranged, all of which are ultimately impermanent and have the nature of destruction. In addition, no matter how conditioned things appear, they cannot be स्थिर (Sthira, stable) like clouds in the sky, and all actions are like a dream last night, like a rainbow in the sky, and there is never a time to grasp them. Therefore, one should always meditate on death and impermanence, and until the fear of death has not disappeared, one must persevere in life and practice without laziness or procrastination. As Je Mokchokpa said, "Death has not arisen in the mind, like the autumn mist. Death has not arisen in the mind, like the king's concubine. Death has not arisen in the mind, like the summer hail." As it is said, impermanence is the spur of the Dharma, so at all times and in all ways, one must firmly establish certainty in one's own mind, abandon one's homeland, accept a foreign land, overcome difficulties, bet one's life, live in caves and rock shelters, associate with wild animals, and entrust one's mind to the lama and the Dharma, so that one can finally complete life and practice, which is the key.
