Merely by hearing and speaking about these, liberation will not be attained. For those teachings that have been spoken, examine and contemplate their nature, generate experience from the depths of your heart, and firmly establish wisdom in your mind. Show these teachings to those fortunate ones who are qualified and capable vessels. For those individuals who practice with single-pointed focus, my mindstream will be transferred to them, and they will swiftly attain liberation without doubt. M ༄༅། །ཟའོ། །(Tibetan) Having said this, he vanished into invisibility. Later, in the experience of clear light meditation, when I beheld the face of Manjushri, the Lion of Speech, I made this request: O Venerable Teacher, Protector of the World! Although I have ascertained that all appearances of the container and its contents are nothing other than self-appearance, are the names and different pure lands of all the Buddhas truly established in external realms, or are they not? Please reveal this to me. Having heard my request, the Teacher spoke: O Venerable Great Being, listen! Based on the Dharmakaya of the ground, the inherent radiance of the Sugata-garbha, and the spontaneously accomplished qualities of the jewel, the Buddha-fields, the father and mother deities, and the palaces that are shown, all these are perfectly complete in the ground itself, and this is wisdom. And to show that they are established in other places is skillful means. Qualities perfectly complete in the ground itself are the ultimate truth. And to explain that there are other places with container and content worlds is conventional truth. Furthermore, the spontaneously accomplished body and the play of wisdom of the ground itself are the definitive meaning. And to explain in other places the names of the Buddha-fields and the male and female deities, and so forth, as things with characteristics, all these are provisional meanings. To accord with the gate of samsara, the ultimate truth and conventional truth are taught in this way: All the Victorious Ones are bound by the vows of the five bodies, All phenomena encompassed by samsara and nirvana, in the realm of the ground, in the great emptiness, the great Dharma-nature existing as uncreated self-nature, is the Dharmakaya. From the immeasurable and inconceivable distinctions of realms and faculties, the entrance to the path, the experience of meditation, and the attainment of the fruit are also immeasurable and inconceivable, and these self-existing qualities are the Sambhogakaya. The spontaneously accomplished body and the play of wisdom, existing as self-nature in a perfect enjoyment, is the Sambhogakaya. From the nature, the manifestation of the Nirmanakaya, without arising the thought of wanting to spread the Nirmanakaya, appearing in a way that is not different from the ground itself, is the Nirmanakaya, the skillful Nirmanakaya, and the bir

Emanations such as nirmanakayas and physical bodies, the consciousness of self-grasping is like a water vessel, and the qualities of the sugata-garbha's essence are like the stars in the sky. When the time is right, the four interdependent emanations appear. In reality, it does not go beyond the play of the three kayas of container and content. The aspect of emptiness of essence is the dharmakaya, the aspect of spontaneous perfection is the sambhogakaya, and the aspect of individual appearance is called the nirmanakaya. Furthermore, the ground itself has become the essence of all samsara and nirvana, and in essence, all are of one taste, therefore it is called essence itself. Accumulating and piling up all wisdom and qualities is like a pile, and is called kaya. Since there is no change in the three times and the essence does not change into something else, it is unchanging. Since no other thing can cause harm, it is unbreakable. Since it cannot be destroyed by oneself or others, it abides as the common ground of samsara and nirvana, therefore it is true. Since good and bad cannot be mixed in, it is solid. Since it is free from movement, it is stable. Since it can penetrate even the subtlest obscurations of knowledge, it is unobstructed in all things. Since it cannot be overcome by any object or condition, it is invincible in all things. Thus, only beings with karma and fortune can realize the vajra nature of the ultimate indestructible reality, and no ordinary sentient being can realize it. Having realized it, if one practices it, it is impossible not to gain conviction. When conviction is gained, it is impossible not to be liberated. When liberated, it is impossible not to attain complete Buddhahood, therefore it possesses the four vows. These five kayas are the ultimate truth that is inherently present in the ground itself. To explain them as separate from this is called the path of relative means. In order to accord with beings' attachment to lineage, the basis for speaking of lineage to the deities is: the stains of habitual patterns of the ground itself are purified in the expanse, therefore it is pure. The nature of wisdom and qualities increases, therefore it is called increasing. Possessing the seven indestructible vajra dharmas, therefore it is vajra. Since it is the source of all kayas and wisdom, it is precious. Since it is unstained by faults and impurities, it is a lotus. Since activities are completely accomplished, it is the karma lineage. Lineage refers to the respective scope bound by that oath. In order to accord with people's attachment to objects, the five buddhafields are shown as: the aspect of the ground's essence, qualities, and perfect beauty is the Dense Array (Akanishta). Since it possesses great joy not created by objects and lords, it is the Manifest Joy. The wisdom and qualities of
