Due to the power of clinging to self, self and other appear as truly existent, like bubbles bursting from water. The empty, clear essence of the ground is fixated upon as self-appearance and mind-consciousness, and due to the power of stability, various illusions appear, like the illusion of blurred vision arising from constricted veins or the elements of the veins being disturbed by wind. In the face of the consciousness of clinging to self, although various appearances arise from the ground, the ground itself does not move and does not arise from it, like a person who has mastered the samadhi of transformation, when he abides in the samadhi of transformation, although various emanations appear, in reality, they are without foundation and no object is established. Alas! You, young child, are inconceivable. If you meditate in this way, step by step, and realize appearances as illusion, you will become a yogi of illusion. Having said this, he disappeared. Furthermore, the Vidyadhara Dudul Dorje said: Vajra, the eternal Vajra. In essence, look at the sky itself. So he said. Again, explaining its meaning, he said: Alas! This empty sky is the basis for the appearance of all containers and contents. For example, the basis for the appearance of an image is a mirror, but the image does not arise separately from the mirror; the basis for the appearance of a moon in water is water, but the moon in water does not arise separately from the water; the basis for the appearance of a rainbow is the sky, but the rainbow does not arise separately from the sky. Like that. That sky is indivisible because it is without wounds, indestructible because it is free from destruction, true because the sky abides as the source of existence and peace, solid because the sky is not subject to the defilement of faults and virtues, stable because the sky is free from change, unobstructed in everything because there is no part of the sky that is not included in even the smallest atom, and undefeated by anything because the sky cannot be harmed by anything. Any other substance is divisible because it can be wounded by a weapon, destructible because it can be destroyed by conditions, false because it can change into one or many, not solid because it can be defiled by others, unstable because it is subject to movement, obstructed in everything, and defeated because it is emptied by other conditions. Those characteristics that are not established as true are emptiness. Furthermore, a coarse object is reduced to dust,

Even the smallest particle, if divided into seven parts, cannot be established due to its nature of emptiness without inherent existence. If you think that by acting upon it, it disappears, implying that it initially existed, observe the appearance in a dream. At the very moment of appearance, it is not established, regardless of whether or not there is an act of seeing, hearing, or touching. Just by opening and closing the eyes, and lifting and lowering the feet, the appearance changes, arising and ceasing. However, it is not that the former ceases and vanishes, and then the latter arises later. If you think that it transfers from the former to another place, then all the former and the latter are truly established, please observe the appearance in a dream. In particular, since everything is established in dependence on cause and effect, it is impossible for there to be an independent, self-sufficient essence. Please contemplate this well. Then, the statement that the sky possesses the seven vajra attributes also uses the example of immutability because of its non-substantiality, to show that the nature of reality's manner of existence is inexpressible, inconceivable, and immutable. If you apply it to explaining the distinction between real and unreal, true and false, that would be excellent. Therefore, when using a finger to point at the moon, one should look at the moon, not be satisfied with just looking at the tip of the finger. If you do not repeatedly familiarize yourself with this and thoroughly establish emptiness, you will not even come close to the path of omniscience. O intelligent young one, you should deeply contemplate this meaning and become a yogi who realizes all appearances as the sky itself, opening the wisdom of the sky! Having said this, he disappeared. Having thus ascertained that all appearances are empty from their own ground, even though you know it, if you think that the outer appearances of the container world, the inner movements of sentient beings, and the objects of the five desires will all be left behind and go to another place, and if you think that all sentient beings have their own nature, in the state of existence, in the appearance of a dream, I met my guru, the stainless light rays, and in the manner of questions and answers, he instructed me with this key point: Alas! Son of noble family, the outer appearances of the container world, the inner movements of sentient beings, and the objects of the five desires, like the dissolving of a magical illusion into space, ultimately dissolve into the empty, vast alaya consciousness.
