It is not like that. The appearances, from the moment of their appearance, change and cease in a sequence of before and after moments. The mind transfers to the essence of this and that, and this shows that it has not become without mind. Therefore, in this way, in the mere appearance of dependent origination, the appearance of the eight consciousnesses occurs in order, so it spreads in all directions of samsara. In particular, in the meantime, it is exhausted at the peak of existence in the manner of reversing in order between the alaya consciousnesses. Third, concluding with the explanation of the key points: Thus, all appearances, existence, samsara, and nirvana are not different from the base itself, but are of one taste in the base itself. For example, in the ocean, various images of the sun, moon, and stars appear, but in reality, they are of one taste in the nature of water. This should be understood as such. This is the appearance

This should be done. Having thus ascertained the meaning of illusion-like, entering into the door of the yoga of illusion, now we ourselves, even at the time of the objects of offering and generosity, etc., should regard all offerings or objects of generosity as illusion-like things. Through the purification mantra, purify it into emptiness, and then through the increasing mantra, cause those objects that are the objects of offering and generosity to appear in the realm of the six senses, manifesting any desired things that are desired, and increasing them to an immeasurable extent, thereby learning the method of pleasing them. Second, from the perspective of emptiness, it is shown that its nature is devoid of reality, which has two aspects: a brief indication in the manner of being bound by one Dharma-nature; and a detailed explanation by clearly showing the various aspects of how it is separated. First, a brief indication in the manner of being bound by one Dharma-nature: For example, no matter how many images of stars appear in the water, they are bound by the water itself; no matter how many forms of the container and its contents there are, they are bound by one space; Likewise, no matter how vast and numerous the appearances of samsara and nirvana are, one should realize their equality in the manner of being bound by one mind-nature. Second, a detailed explanation by clearly showing the various aspects of how it is separated, which has three aspects: showing its nature as being separated from the characteristics of benefit and harm; showing its nature as being separated from the eight extremes of elaboration; showing its nature as being separated from the three doors of liberation. First, showing its nature as being separated from the characteristics of benefit and harm: The reality of self-nature, the Dharma-nature, the Tathagatagarbha, for example, even if there were Buddhas filling the sky, their wisdom and qualities would not truly be established as objects to be benefited; similarly, even if there were sentient beings with self-continuums equal to the edge of space, their faults would not be established as objects to be harmed, therefore they are completely separated. Second, showing its nature as being separated from the eight extremes of elaboration: The Dharmakaya Tathagatagarbha as the basis, because it is separated from all places, locations, and masters of birth, therefore it does not fall into the extreme of birth; because it transcends the time and master of cessation, therefore it is separated from the extreme of cessation; because it is an existing thing, a thing that falls into the side of reality, even the victorious one's wisdom eye cannot see it, therefore it is separated from the extreme of permanence.
