The reason for complete clinging is: the operation of the three kinds of ignorance causes the initial consciousness to be deluded and to expand into the appearance of external objects. In this appearance, the consciousness that clings to "I" lies dormant, and the subsequent conceptual thoughts nourish it. For all good, bad, and neutral things, dualistic clinging grasps tightly, and one becomes intimate with the feelings of pleasure, pain, and neutrality. Because of clinging to the illusion of reality, the outer appearance manifests as the vessel-world, the inner sentient beings as living beings, and the intermediate appearance as the realm of the five desirable qualities. In this expansion, due to the clinging of the grasper and the grasped, one becomes intimate with the illusory appearances of pleasure, pain, and neutrality, and due to the strong clinging to external objects, one struggles in the cycle of illusion, wandering in samsara. In contrast to this, relying on the key of the non-this, the great secret swift path of Tögal, those who possess the fortune of cause and conditions, from the very first consciousness, manifest luminosity, and all impure illusory appearances, in the play of pure Dharmadhatu, are transformed into the state of luminosity and Dharmata. All the impure final kalpas of the illusory appearances of phenomena, in the vast expanse of Dharmadhatu, purify illusion from the root, and dissolve into Dharmadhatu. Therefore, the key to this path should be understood as it is, without error. Through the faith of the three doors united as one, practicing this profound essence of the swift path is the highest of all key instructions and oral instructions. By this, one can obtain mastery over the five elements and mature into a pure light body. The above is the ninth chapter, which explains the principle of the purity and impurity of the five elements. Samaya (藏文,समया,samaya,Vow), Guhya (藏文,गुह्य,guhya,Secret), this is the meaning of expanding in Dharmadhatu. Sixth, to explain the principle that if one does not realize as it is, one will go astray on the path of the grasper and the grasped. Thus, as it is, etc., dissolving in Dharmadhatu, is what is explained here. Thus, not realizing the nature of the wisdom of awareness as it is, from the realm of the unindicated Alaya, stirred by the wind of clinging karma, the mind is wrapped in the net of habitual tendencies. Not truly knowing the reality of the great wisdom of awareness, and influenced by ignorance, the outer appearance clings to the unindicated, thus wandering in illusion. The inner self clings to the unindicated.

Having gone astray, I am bound by the fetters of self. In between, because the mind falls into a state of non-attention, the true nature of the inherent awareness is not manifested. Moreover, due to clinging to emptiness and being self-righteous, one is far from the wisdom of awareness. Because of the fault of not seeing the essential points of the path as they are, no matter how one meditates, one remains attached to the experience of clarity and emptiness, hanging on the path of grasping and clinging. Deceived by the experiences of confusion, loss, and error, the path of omniscience as it is is not manifested. Therefore, one must first rely on a noble spiritual friend who possesses view and realization, serve them through the three ways of pleasing the guru, and without any hidden agendas regarding vows, practice the guru's instructions properly. Then, through discriminating wisdom, establish the foundation of the view of Trekchö. Cause the wisdom of realizing selflessness to manifest. Decide that all phenomena included in appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, are not truly established even to the slightest degree other than as self-appearance. Realize that the nature of reality transcends cause and effect, and that the sphere of the equality of the three kayas of awareness is manifested and naturally realized as it is. Again, gaining mastery over the ground, transform all the realms of phenomena of appearance and existence into the play of self-appearing wisdom. All appearances are empty as mere appearances, and empty as mere emptiness is appearance. The reality of awareness, which is the inseparability of appearance and emptiness, is the essence of suchness, emptiness, free from basis, beyond mind, the great sphere of primordial liberation, free from elaboration. The aspect of self-nature is without cessation, the spontaneous accomplishment of the kayas and the natural increase of wisdom, the doors of manifestation of various qualities, are perfected in the great self-luminosity, and are not fabricated. Thus, in the sphere of the great perfection of the spontaneous accomplishment of the three kayas, realizing the reality of primordial purity, emptiness, free from elaboration, in the unmade, naturally clear great perfection, the aspect of the ground sphere of emptiness and the two phenomena of the ground essence appearance are inseparable, being empty-clear, spontaneously accomplished. For example, the vast ocean is not stirred by waves, and the water is clear of turbidity. In the clear and bright essence, there is naturally the ability to manifest various images. Therefore, the appearance of planets, stars, and images is vast and numerous.
