Though present, one is not satisfied without eating. It is like this: Having completely abandoned nine kinds of activities, one gains stability in oneself through the power of wisdom from meditation. For example, just as darkness does not appear when dawn breaks. When awareness pervades the vast expanse of the sky, awareness gains its own stability in itself. However, one does not become a Buddha by just that. Therefore, the appearance of phenomena is transformed into the nature of reality itself. The root of samsara is emptied. The clinging to duality is directly liberated, and the appearance of self and other dissolves into the expanse, pacifying the clinging to attachment, aversion, hope, and fear. Ignorance is purified at the base, and the eye of reality is obtained. The root of self-grasping is severed, so the mind of grasping ceases. The thread of the grasped and the grasper is cut from the heart, so the object of grasping ceases. The thoughts of dualistic appearance cease, and samsara and nirvana are equally vast. At this time, the body is like a corpse in a charnel ground, and even if surrounded by hundreds of executioners, there is no fear or shame. Speech is like the sound of an echo in a cliff, and instead of repeating the words of others, the movement of speech-wind clinging to its own place is liberated in its own place. The mind is like a rainbow dissolving into the sky, and the appearance of phenomena dissolves into the nature of reality. There is not even a trace of the appearance-mind of samsara, and the dharmadhatu is completely perfect, primordially pure, and vast in a state free from elaboration. This is the state of arriving at the ground of liberation. At that time, the three measures are: the best is when dreams are purified into luminosity, and day and night luminosity merge into the sphere of luminosity; the intermediate is when one recognizes dreams as dreams and is able to perform transformations, etc.; the lowest is when the continuity of bad dream habits is cut off, and one sees gods and pure lands, draws mandalas, and gives empowerments and teachings to others. There are only good dreams, and the continuation of bad karmic habits is cut off. Some say that my reality has been exhausted, but that is a phenomenon, and it is a flaw that the nature of reality has not been exhausted. Some say that I have no attachment or clinging, but pretend to have it. This is a hypocrite who pretends to be what he is not. Such a person is not exhausted, so learned and virtuous people will refute him with scripture and reason. Even when one arrives at the unchanging essence, there is still the power of the subtle obscuration of knowledge, like the space between

It appears as if one's own body, hands, and feet are stretched out, and then, as before, speaking and so on will occur. Then, for those of superior faculties, seven days; for those of intermediate faculties, six months; and for those of inferior faculties, even from one year onwards, the subtlest obscurations of knowledge are completely purified, and with the wisdom of knowing reality as it is, one gains mastery over the ground; with the wisdom of seeing reality as it appears, one gains mastery over the path. The essence is emptiness, the Dharmakaya; the nature is unceasing, the spontaneously accomplished great bliss Sambhogakaya; the compassionate, all-pervading, unceasing manifestation is the Nirmanakaya. In the great expanse of the inseparable union of the three kayas, for one's own benefit, one manifests the attainment of the Dharmakaya and becomes a Buddha. For the benefit of others, with a physical body, until samsara in the three realms is empty, one abides in the great bliss Sambhogakaya. From that, emanate Nirmanakayas and the six Munis who tame beings, as well as the supreme Nirmanakaya who demonstrates the attainment of Buddhahood through the twelve deeds, such as Shakyamuni Buddha. Furthermore, there are skillful Nirmanakayas, birth Nirmanakayas, inanimate object Nirmanakayas, and so on, which manifest according to what needs to be tamed, and are able to greatly accomplish the benefit of beings. The two benefits are ultimately perfected. The Buddha manifests the attainment of Buddhahood. When such a yogi passes away, there appear external signs such as two kinds of light interweaving, the sun and moon being devoured by Rahu, the earth shaking in six ways, and five kinds of sounds roaring. Internal signs include relics and ashes, and all the signs and marks of Buddhahood appear completely. This is the manifestation of complete and perfect enlightenment. From the burning of the body: The most excellent wise person, These deluded appearances, When phenomena are purified in their own place, Attains the fruit of reality, The defiled aggregates no longer appear, The fruit of self-enlightenment is attained. Thus, these external signs, When a holy person passes away, Therein are the body and relics, As well as light and sound, And the earth will shake. Thus it is said. In the Vajrasattva Heart Mirror: The truly perfect Buddha, Is the one who attains Buddhahood without remaining aggregates. The manifestation of complete and perfect enlightenment, Is when light and sound, the body and relics, and the shaking of the earth, and so on, appear. Thus it is said. Then, the discriminating pendulum Homage! In the teachings, mind and awareness, intellect and wisdom.
