Because it is possible to do so, like illuminating the mind with a lamp, various thoughts arise, just as sparks fly from a fire, they arise from the realm of afflicted mind. From the very moment of arising, for example, when waves rise from water, although water and waves appear to be two things, their essence is water, they have the same taste, and there is no good or bad. Similarly, the basis of arising is the essence of dharmata, and the ariser is thought, the two are not distinct, but merge into one taste, so one must understand this state. If it is not so, but one nurtures thoughts, or tries to stop them as if dealing with an enemy, it is like blocking the gap of a great river, which will eventually be destroyed by the flood. The karmic wind enters the life force, and there is no choice but to become insane. If one sees one's own ability as a defect and tries to stop it, know that this is the wisdom that can see the unobstructed manifestation of the dharmakaya. Therefore, if one abandons this wisdom, a Buddha separated from wisdom and observation will definitely not arise. In short, even in a single day and night, twenty-one thousand six hundred thoughts arise. Even if you stop it, it will naturally disappear; even if you leave it alone, it will naturally disappear. Because there is nothing other than the subsequent wisdom of the dharmakaya. Therefore, the previous lamas said that the more thoughts there are, the more dharmakayas there are. For example, the more firewood there is, the more the fire will spread. Just as firewood burns itself, thoughts liberate themselves and completely merge into the wisdom of the dharmakaya. If you stop thoughts, no matter how you meditate, you will not attain Buddhahood. So-called meditation is not about deliberately seeking, nor is it about falling into a state of non-attention without meditation, but about abiding in the great state of natural abiding of dharmata. As Toktsépa said: The meditation of the mind is not meditation, not meditating is also not meditation, beyond meditation and the meditator, there is nothing in the mind, Mahamudra. Just as he said. So, if it is said that sentient beings and tap water are no different, there is a difference. Because sentient beings do not know that the nature of all phenomena is unestablished, they cling to all phenomena as true. It is like the mind being shrouded in darkness. For example, water, which is originally free-flowing, is frozen. Bound and deluded by the ropes of grasping and being grasped.

It is perfectly suited to oneself. The yogi realizes the state in which all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are without inherent existence, just like the sun rising after dawn. Thereafter, there is not even a speck of something to meditate on other than abiding in the manifest state of self-existing luminosity. For example, just as there is nothing else to open after opening one eye to look. There is nothing to fixate on or fixator other than seeing the sky with the eyes. If it is said that ignorant beings and animals also see the sky, isn't there no difference? It is not so, because sentient beings do not know the reality of the ground and cannot see from the nature of the emptiness of the sky. Therefore, it is like seeing a mottled rope as a snake and mistaking a stump for a person. In reality, there is a difference between awareness and unawareness, knowledge and ignorance, just as there is a difference between gold and stone. Some people do not understand the meaning of emptiness, and only torture themselves in vain, thinking that they must understand it by their own power, but the nature of emptiness cannot be measured by seeing or not seeing. Then, wouldn't it become meaningless for the Perfectly Enlightened Bhagavan to establish and proclaim in the intermediate teachings that all phenomena, from form to omniscience, are empty? Relying on one's own power, even if one has been hunching over from beginningless samsara until now, one cannot straighten one's back like pulling out a stick, so there is never a time to attain realization. Therefore, it is crucial to rely on the Buddha's teachings, the guru's instructions, and one's own valid wisdom to attain realization. Thus, in the realm of the equality of the three kayas, after recognizing the secret meaning of non-conceptual space, there is not even a speck of something to meditate on other than abiding in the state of natural manifestation. As Master Spa Gompa said, "Thoroughly understand this sky! If you can realize its lack of support, you will drive in the great nail of non-meditation." He also said, "The nature of mind is the great sky of the dharmadhatu." Saraha said, "All without exception is the nature of the sky, at all times never moving. Although repeatedly saying sky, sky, the essence of the sky is not established in any way. It is existence, non-existence, both existence and non-existence, for it, it transcends other comparable realms. Like this.
