This was written by the wandering beggar woman Tare in order to fulfill the wishes of the faithful Jigme. May it be virtuous! Homage to Orgyen Padmasambhava, the embodiment of all Buddhas! Homage to you, Kunkhyong Lingpa, the emanation of his heart! When you have the precious opportunity of a human body with leisure and endowments, Rely on the Lama so as not to waste it. Enter the sacred Dharma with body, speech, and mind. Enter the teachings of the Thubpa (Buddha) whose name and meaning are the same. Meet the Buddhas of the Good Aeon. Don't waste your physical basis, it's pitiful! Family life is impermanent, like guests at a market gathering. Don't engage in idle talk and fighting, it's miserable! Wealth and possessions, etc., are the tethers of samsara. Don't be bound by knots of miserliness, it's pitiful! This clinging to duality, which is like an illusion, Also, by relying on a qualified virtuous friend, Through the power of meditating alone in a solitary mountain, Cut off the root of self-grasping, it's miserable! Since the six realms are the nature of parents, Even if it's not certain that they are all one mother, In order to repay their kindness, solitary mountain is pitiful! The aggregates are impermanent, like bubbles in water. Whatever virtuous or non-virtuous actions, their fruits ripen on oneself. Not knowing what to accept or reject, solitary mountain is miserable! If you take refuge in the Lama, he will lead you to the path of liberation as you wish. With intense faith of longing devotion, Rely on solitude and act according to the Lama's instructions. Tame your own mind, which is like a horn, it's pitiful! The qualities of a solitary mountain are beyond words. To say a little, it seems like this: Relying on solitude reverses attachment to samsara. Relying on solitude obtains the seed of liberation. Relying on solitude obtains the qualities of a Buddha. Relying on solitude gives rise to devotion to the Dharma. Relying on solitude gives rise to love and compassion. Relying on solitude reduces anger and malice. Relying on solitude, there is no enemy, friend, attachment, or hatred. Relying on solitude increases refuge and recitation. Relying on solitude, one is taken care of by the Lama. Relying on solitude, One obtains the nectar of instructions. Relying on solitude, one sees the natural state. Relying on solitude, one meets self-arisen wisdom. Relying on solitude, one gains the satisfaction of rigpa. Relying on solitude, one realizes the view of emptiness. Relying on solitude, spontaneous arising is uninterrupted. Relying on solitude, there is no acceptance, rejection, hope, or fear. Relying on solitude, one obtains the fruit of the four kayas. Relying on solitude, one is alone...

Relax your mind and be happy! If you rely on solitude, both aims will be naturally accomplished. This is like a brief summary of the benefits of solitude. Don't be gloomy, don't be hungry, dedicate your life to the Dharma! Even though there are many qualified spiritual friends, the true Lama who possesses the three kindnesses is supreme. Inseparable from the Regent of the Buddhas, accomplish whatever he says, and both self and others will be accomplished. This is also in response to his disciple Thub Sang, advising him not to be gloomy or hungry, but to be happy. This is written with a touch of irony, under the name "Dewa," about a beggar who is idle, practices in samsara, and possesses all faults, like a beast. Excellent! The dance of the mind of Orgyen, the Lotus-Born Vajra (Padmasambhava)! The heroic Heruka who subdues the wicked! I prostrate at the feet of the Vidyadhara Vimalamitra! Please bless my being to be mingled with the Dharma! Ema, listen, fortunate son of the lineage! Primordial purity, the unobstructed Dharmakaya! Beyond color and form, spontaneously accomplished! Slowly, abide in the uncorrected luminosity! Subdue ego-clinging and self-grasping with great force! Do not have joy or sorrow, rest in the non-dual space! The cherished illusory aggregates are a deluded body. When unbearable suffering arises from conceptual thoughts, without clinging to good or bad, without hope or fear, with the sound of the profound path of pacification, Cut! Whatever appears, take the "Pha" of the self-liberation instruction! View the appearance of dualistic delusion as a demon! External appearances rise intensely like a storm! Uncomfortable appearances and sounds are the root of anger. Cut it with the (Tibetan: ཕཊ,Sanskrit Devanagari: फट,Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ,Literal Chinese meaning: phaṭ) of the great wisdom of selflessness! Take the "Pha" of the unobstructed state of mind where nothing can be found! Whatever appears, whatever arises, rest in the natural state without any correction! In the pure equality of appearance and existence, see the original face of the four Kayas! Inner clarity, attain permanent sovereignty in the youthful vase body! That is what the false victorious, idle madwoman, from the sword of awareness, presents the dance of connection, offering wonder at the edge of the sword! Ema, listen, respected monk! Self-born awareness, primordial purity is great! Beyond the mind, inconceivable, inexpressible! The ultimate Sugata-essence is supreme! All phenomena of samsara and nirvana are the nature of awareness! The nature is uncorrected, in its original state! The view is without distinction between samsara and nirvana! Rest in a state of unattached, vast expanse! Meditation is without clinging or object! Rest in the original luminosity! Conduct is like water and waves! Self-arising, self-liberating!
