Now, practice emptiness. As it is said. Therefore, first, the view of the ground should be profound, and with faith and understanding, all the dharmas included in phenomenal existence, samsara, and nirvana should be determined, and the meaning of original emptiness, the great rootlessness, should be understood. Through the practice of the path, the key points of practice should not be mistaken, and the wisdom of clarity and emptiness inseparable should be manifested, and the self-existing wisdom of abiding should not be cut off by conceptual thought. Do not gather inward with the mind, and do not make any fabrications with conceptual thought. To leave (the mind) in its natural state is considered to be the essence of making the essence the path. As I have told you all before, at all times and in all ways, do not make any modifications or confusions with conceptual thought to the self-existing awareness, or the meditation of abiding, but with great faith, great diligence, and great courage, practice the realm of the equality of the three bodies as it is, and do not just stay at the level of understanding, but be sure to make the meaning obtained in your own mindstream, do not be lazy and scattered. Among them, it is said: Self-awareness, the three bodies spontaneously accomplished, do not bind with the bonds of negation and affirmation, fabrication, self-abiding in the state beyond mind, realize the great power of the two wisdoms. As it is said. Regarding the way of conduct that is the companion of view and practice: external behavior, for towns and villages, etc., do not drink intoxicating liquor and let the mind be unrestrained, but be peaceful, gentle, mindful, aware, and careful, and do not abandon the dignity of the Pratimoksha precepts. Internal behavior, do not be like those who have not heard of the ripening cause and effect of the ten non-virtuous deeds, but base it on the meaning of aspiration and entry, it is best to have a king-like courageous spirit for the benefit of all sentient beings, Even if it is not so, the behavior aroused by Bodhicitta should not violate the Bodhisattva's precepts. The vows of secret mantra empowerment: the six Vajra masters, the four fellow practitioners, the three mantras, the four mudras, the ten secrets. In particular, to put it simply, guarding the vows of the body, speech, and mind of the Lama, even if faced with life-threatening danger, is like protecting the eyes on the forehead, which is the root of the secret mantra vows, so guard them without violation, damage, or deficiency, and practice the meaning of profound luminosity without slackening. Secret behavior: when misfortune befalls, do not be like an ordinary person who is at a loss, but like a Garuda spreading its wings, be free from the causes and conditions of afflictions.

In short, whatever appears is merely the nature of phenomena arising from causes and conditions. In reality, it is without truth, like illusion and dreams. It is the self-knowing of the ground, the play of wisdom, and the adornment of awareness. Recognizing this, settle into that state, liberating from the root. Do not engage in any acceptance or rejection, hope or fear, regarding all arising thoughts. Knowing that all appearances are the play of the nature of phenomena, gain conviction in the great equality of appearance and existence, self-arising and self-liberating. This is the companion of view and practice. Ah! They are not separate. The Great Orgyen (Padmasambhava) said: "My view is higher than the sky, and my actions are finer than flour." And in the oral instructions, it says: "View, meditation, and action are the companions on the path for yogis. In the expanse of the dharmadhatu, there is no difference. Repeat this until you realize the meaning of 'liberation upon seeing'." As it is said. Therefore, do not leave the profound path of view, meditation, and action as mere words or something heard. Unless you have integrated all the meanings into your own being, without needing to add or subtract from others, then merely understanding the meaning of the nature of phenomena will lead to denying cause and effect, and there is a danger of going astray. Therefore, at all times, it is crucial to understand the meaning of reality without distortion and to have a firm resolve in view and meditation from within. The Powerful Sage (Shakyamuni Buddha) said: "Like gold that is burned, cut, and polished, examine my teachings well." As it is said. In short, at all times, do not let awareness become reckless and uncontrolled, but hold it with the hook of mindfulness. All external actions, internal thoughts, and secret practices should be in a natural state, without losing mindfulness. If you cannot do this, even if I show you the essential secrets of the path of the Great Perfection of Clear Light, it will be lost in understanding and will lead to the accumulation of uninterrupted karma for oneself and others. Therefore, make an effort to integrate the meaning into your being through mindfulness and vigilance, without error. Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa said: "Experience is like mist, it vanishes. Understanding is like a patch, it falls off." As it is said. The ultimate conclusion of these is: Do not let the self-arising awareness fall into the dualistic confusion of arising, ceasing, and abiding, but settle into the essence of reality, settle into the empty clarity that is unestablished.
