The world, its contents, sentient beings, etc., although impermanent like bubbles in water, do not practice death as Dharma, but are bound by strong clinging to permanence. I pray to the noble Avalokiteśvara, have mercy, Ārya Tārā, bless me to remember death from the heart. The happiness and suffering of existence depend solely on the results of karma. In the two, abandoning and adopting, the adopting and abandoning are mistaken, belittling cause and effect, uttering loud empty words. I pray to the noble Avalokiteśvara, have mercy, Ārya Tārā, bless me to understand cause and effect in detail. In the realm of samsara, there is no moment of happiness. Although desiring happiness, I strive in the work of suffering, like a moth flying into a fire pit. I pray to the noble Avalokiteśvara, have mercy, Ārya Tārā, bless me to turn away from attachment to samsara. Although the Three Jewels are the main refuge, I do not keep even one precept of training, diligently engage in non-virtuous deeds, and accumulate various sins and transgressions. I pray to the noble Avalokiteśvara, have mercy, Ārya Tārā, bless me to remember the qualities of the Three Jewels. Although I have the jewel of aspiring and engaging Bodhicitta, my benefit to others is small, and I stray into the dualistic Rakshasa. I pray to the noble Avalokiteśvara, have mercy, Ārya Tārā, bless me to generate the four immeasurables. Thinking I am without self-grasping, I boast of the two accumulations as a complete wheel. I am stingy and do not diligently accumulate merit, clinging to self and others like corpses for the sake of a small cup of tea. I pray to the noble Avalokiteśvara, have mercy, Ārya Tārā, bless me to be able to accumulate vast merit. Thinking I am without sin and obscuration, I hold my own appearance as emptiness. The burden of offerings, dead people's food, and black wealth is heavy. I pray to the noble Avalokiteśvara, have mercy, Ārya Tārā, bless me to generate the four powers in my mindstream. Although I think of faith, pure appearance, and impartiality, it is like a prayer flag moved by the wind. I pray.
