Thinking that the key points of vows such as these should be protected without being diminished, please repeat after me: The Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha, The three supreme jewels, I will never abandon them. Restraining the actions of the three doors, Learning the three pure disciplines. Likewise, holding the vows of the family, Not abandoning the Vajra Master, And also the mudra of the Vajra Bell, Always holding them at all times. Holding the vows of the Vajra family, Without regard for body and possessions, Giving to others, Saving those without refuge from fear, Always Protecting with Dharma and love, Striving for the four types of giving at six times. Holding the vows of the Ratna family, The outer, inner, and secret three vehicles, Holding the sacred Dharma properly, I will never abandon it. Holding the vows of the Padma family, Not abandoning the mind of Bodhichitta, Abiding greatly in the vows, Striving for outer, inner, and secret offerings. Holding the vows of the Karma family, The root, supreme body, speech, and mind, And the branch vows, not transgressing, Protector, please protect me, Please make it happen properly. Recite three times. Then take the vow water: Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ，Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ，Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ，Literal Chinese meaning: 吽), Hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ，Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः，Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ，Literal Chinese meaning: 舍) This is the vow Vajra water, By pouring it into your speech, Protecting the vow, attain Buddhahood in this life, If violated, you will fall into hell, Therefore, do not let the vow diminish Extremely, Hold it as the pledge of your life. Vajra Samaya Narakana (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ས་མ་ཡ་ན་ར་ཀན，Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र समय नरकण，Sanskrit Romanization: vajra samaya narakana，Literal Chinese meaning: 金刚誓言地狱) Thus, pour the nectar into the speech, Take three sips, and think that you have obtained all the accomplishments of body, speech, and mind. Throw the remainder to the left rear, Think that all violations of vows have been purified. Then give the blindfold: The master says: In order to remove the obscurations of ignorance of you all, make the intention of alternately binding the face with a blindfold. Oṃ Cakṣu Bandha Varamaṇaye Svāhā (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཙཀྵུ་བྷནྡྷ་ཝ་ར་མ་ཎ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ，Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ चक्षु बन्ध वरमणये स्वाहा，Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ cakṣu bandha varamaṇaye svāhā，Literal Chinese meaning: 嗡，眼，束缚，vara，玛纳耶，梭哈) Thus. Giving flowers: The master says: Oh, sons of fortunate lineage, when you meet the deity of your chosen deity, it is not right to meet empty-handed, and the accomplishments are small and there are many obstacles, so for the sake of a hand offering, make the intention of holding a garland of sixteen petals of red and white flowers. Having said this, visualize meeting the deities of the mandala and relaxing. All phenomena encompassing samsara and nirvana transform into emptiness! From within emptiness, instantaneously like a rainbow appearing in the sky, on top of a blooming lotus, sun, and moon, instantaneously the disciple becomes the all-pervading lord of all families. Supreme! Orgyen (藏文：ཨོ་རྒྱན，梵文天城体：ओड्रयान，梵文罗马拟音：oḍḍiyāna，汉语字面意思：Orgyen), etc., as usual, the conclusion of the invocation! Having said this, throw it on the threshold of the four petals. Bestowing a name that corresponds to the lineage: Oh, sons of the lineage, whichever deity your flower falls upon, you will obtain the accomplishment of that deity, the secret name crown as well. If it falls in the east, then it is Vajrasattva Power and, Vajra Play Power and, Vajra Wisdom, Vajra Essence, Vajra Immaculate, Mirror Wisdom Power and, you will also obtain the accomplishment of the deity of that family! If it falls in the south, then it is Ratnasambhava King, Ratnasambhava Meaning Accomplished, Ratnasambhava Play Power, Ratnasambhava Holder of the Doctrine.
