At the time of (A, Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal meaning: None), purify the father's semen of the moon (A, Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal meaning: None) within the A. By generating Manjushri from (Dhih, Tibetan: དྷཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: धी, Sanskrit Romanization: dhīḥ, Literal meaning: Wisdom), purify the Bardo. On the outside of the heart, through (Ah, Tibetan: ཨཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: None), purify the mother's blood of the sun and moon. The Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, mantras, hand gestures, and emblems all dissolving into it also purify the Bardo. If applied separately, they become purifiers of the body, speech, and mind of the Bardo; here, supplication with mantras and urging with songs are complete. In general, there are many different ways to purify the Bardo. In the second Abhisambodhi—the Wisdom of Equality—purify the father's semen, which is the moon Manjushri merging into the sun, and the two Gandharvas dissolving into the mother's womb blood, transforming into a bindu. In the third Abhisambodhi—the Wisdom of Discriminating Awareness—generate a dark blue (Hum, Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: None). This is to purify the five stages of the womb: entering ten months, these ten months correspond to fish, etc., and the five stages are: first, the jelly-like stage; second, the soft stage; third, the curd-like stage; fourth, the round stage; fifth, the stage of fissures appearing. These are explained in the Compendium of Origins: 'The body of Akshobhya is the jelly-like stage,' etc., divided into five types. Therefore, the foot-hook of (Hum, Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: None) represents accomplished activity, the abdomen represents discriminating awareness, the head represents equality, the moon represents mirror-like wisdom, and the bindu represents the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, thus purifying. The five wisdoms are the five families. Making a heap of light into a seat, and generating (Hum, Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: None) upon it, is to purify egg-born beings, because for egg-born beings, the eggshell is outside, and sentient beings emerge from within. Also, for womb-born beings, it can also purify the fetal membrane of the womb. The fourth Abhisambodhi is the Wisdom of Accomplished Activity. When the hands and feet begin to move, the body is fully formed between nine months and ten days; to purify this stage, from (Hum, Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: None) arises a five-pronged black vajra, with its five prongs extending upwards, representing the four limbs and the head, and the five prongs extending downwards, representing the five fingers of the four limbs, and the head representing the presence of the senses. Abhayasmanir said so. These are methods of transforming the images of samsara into the path. In the fifth Abhisambodhi—the Wisdom of the Dharmadhatu—the method for purifying the stage of emerging from the womb is the Vajradhara of the result. Purifying the outer world and inner beings is to accomplish immediate benefit for others. By blessing the three places and the twelve sources of birth, purify the ordinary body, speech, and mind, etc. Through empowerment, purify the king's throne and the ordinary person's self-grasping. By dissolving the wisdom being and visualizing the triple deity, completely purify the body and mind. These are mainly applied to womb-born beings, but should be applied analogously to the other three modes of birth. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If applied to other aspects, the sun and moon represent warmth and moisture, thus warmth and moisture promote growth. For oviparous beings, the sun represents the mother, and the moon represents the father. For spontaneously born beings, the sun represents emptiness, and the moon represents clarity. For all beings, Manjushri purifies the bardo state. Furthermore, the three rituals of manifesting enlightenment correspond to the three stages of generation, thus when purifying oviparous beings, one transforms the mind-made body into a deity, thereby purifying spontaneously born beings. Fourth, purifying the destruction of the outer world and inner beings by gathering the mandala. The destruction of the outer world is caused by the three elements of fire, water, and wind. This is purified by gathering the three realms into the protection wheel, until the palace and its base are gathered into oneself. The destruction of inner beings refers to the death of sentient beings, which can be purified by sleep yoga. Therefore, Gorampa Chenpo said that through Abhisamaya, in one stage projected from the main practice, when purifying the three of birth, death, and bardo, first the parents' sperm and blood merge into one in the bardo, then one experiences the five stages of the womb and is born, and then one experiences the three stages of death, therefore purification also requires the order of these three stages. Furthermore, purify the death bardo by accumulating wisdom accumulation and transform the Dharmakaya into the path. Purify the bardo through the root Vajradhara Manjushri and transform the Sambhogakaya into the path. Purify the birth bardo of the six realms through the fruition Vajradhara Vajrabhairava and transform the Nirmanakaya into the path. Purify the enjoyment of desirable qualities through offerings and praises, and transform the Mahasukha Kaya into the path. As it is said in the Anuttarayoga Tantra: 'Death itself is Dharma, perfect enjoyment is the bardo, the form of the six realms is the Nirmanakaya, the enjoyment of desirable qualities is great bliss. The four bodies are all of the same nature.' Vajradhara holds the same view on this. For these, it is very important to receive guidance from an experienced lama and gain certainty. Transforming the image of the fruition into the path is through accumulating the two accumulations, thereby obtaining the part of liberation, and accumulating accumulations for countless eons. Subduing the demon army with the protection wheel, purifying the palace and the pure land. By visualizing oneself as the deity and performing the empowerment, transforming the three realms into a Dharma king. By the activity mudra's drawing in and releasing and recitation, turning the wheel of Dharma. By gathering the mandala, demonstrating Nirvana. Benefiting sentient beings through actions such as walking, standing, sitting, and lying down. This is transforming the image of liberation into the path. Fifth, the method of purifying the three poisons with the form of a deity is: mainly purifying hatred through wrathful deities. The erection of the lingam to purify desire. Purifying ignorance by meditating on the deity with the signs and examples. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
