They said they would offer Mitra's 'Small Dharma', so they offered two good tiger skins as offerings. They also offered two portions of food worth eight taels of gold. Rinpoche (a title of respect for a teacher) himself sent one tael of gold as an offering for the outer ceremony. The two guides agreed to meet in Phagri, and because they did not arrive in time, they also came early. Three wills were sent: 'To accomplish great things, you must have great patience. Do not shoot out like an arrow, do not be like a messenger rushing and sneaking around. Create momentum, making people feel that 'this matter must be accomplished'. Even if the sun rises from the west, this matter will surely succeed. Be sure to get Gyagan Kho to agree.' He also said, 'Take that good conch shell produced in Lazi as a road supply.' Originally, they planned to act secretly, but after hearing these words, they changed their minds and proceeded while publicizing it with great fanfare. In the center of Padro, there is a monastery called Dingpo Monastery, where there is a person named Rinpoche Shangpa Gyon, who said that he was 'an incarnation of the Buddha, doing the work of the Buddha', saying, 'This time, whatever you do will succeed.' To prove this, he sent a golden statue of one cubit high that accomplishes all meanings as a symbol of success. It is said. This golden statue was later enshrined in the inner hall of Jangchin. Panchen (great scholar) Kachepa Zaya Shri promised to give Gyalwa Pel a good horse, then returned and took the horse away. He also promised to give an Indian named Varanasiba two taels of gold, then took him away. These two were preparing to be sent from Tibet to India. At the foot of Phagri, the heavy snow covered the ground, and Tsultrim Wozer used horseshoes to clear the way, making the road unobstructed. The officials could not open their eyes, and they recovered after applying turmeric water. An old man named Geshe Torchar stayed on the mountain of Dromo, practicing and praying in the cave of Dorje Namdzong Drakphuk. Many patrons supported him. When they first arrived, the patrons sent nine hundred thousand properties, sugar, and thirty loads of paint. The two guides also brought a person named Chomtsun Namkha Dorje, who was very familiar with the situation. He encouraged everyone and then settled in Dromo Dotro. All the great figures of Dromo took responsibility, and without any enemies, all conditions were very sufficient. On the way back, many people invited us to their places, so we decided to distribute gifts. We took the road from Mon Ngamin and then detoured to India. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wandering in the remote region called Kapara. 2-576 Seeing their behavior, I felt both fear and amazement. I thought that there was almost no possibility of returning from such a remote area. I crossed many places with fake tigers, petoma, and poisons, etc. One monk recognized me and said, 'This person is likely wandering around, a robber from a bad caste in India. If there is a forest archer incident, they will kill everyone, and no one will be spared. They will say that reciting scriptures and offering tormas (a type of offering) have magic power over us, and then they will come to beat us.' I gave him a lot of rewards and sought a road, crossing many dense forests such as sengdeng. On one of the roads, a huge python was lying across it, killing about three people who were cutting down sengdeng trees. Similarly, there were deaths from bear attacks, injuries, killings by fake tigers, killings by petoma cannibalistic dakinis, and many obstacles such as the local deity stealing life force. My friend Paṇchen Jayashrī... a person who said it was the cushion of Chöjé Shākya Shrī, Gyalwa Pal, often made offerings and prayers at night. 2-577 The border guide said, 'Tonight, this lodging place will have obstacles from humans and non-humans. Take refuge in the sun, moon, and all the great stars.' The Chöjé's cushion was placed on the sleeping place, supported by a bamboo pole as thick as an arm. At night, the fire burned, and the sound of the bamboo joints bursting was like an ear exploding. It is said that this angered all the malicious beings around it. The next morning, there were footprints everywhere, many new and old traces. There were many traces of excrement. Sometimes, it was necessary to climb to the top of high mountains and walk in blizzards. Sometimes, it was necessary to descend into deep valleys, damp and dark, with the body soaked in a lot of sweat. Reaching the top of a mountain higher than the others, with nowhere else to go, shrouded in darkness, without taking off clothes, lighting a fire, and taking turns keeping watch. I saw the place of Bhīmīśvara, the Lord of Terror, in eastern India. Many fires were burning, and the thangka was pitch black. Thinking that Chöjé was staying there, all the attendants prostrated many times. 2-578 Loudly seeking refuge and praying. That night, the translator was convinced. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
