Sometimes bad things happen, and sometimes obstacles occur even in happy moments. Sometimes, even when facing a huge cliff, one can jump over it without hesitation. For situations that are slightly off track, it's like filling in the missing parts in an incomplete set of rules. When reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra twice a month, the 'Ye Dharma' verse (Tibetan: ཡེ་དྷརྨཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ये धर्मा हेतुप्रभवा, Sanskrit Romanization: ye dharmā hetuprabhavā, Literal Chinese meaning: All phenomena arise from causes) is recited. The one called 'Pig Eyes' (ཕག་མིག་) would receive harsh rebukes depending on the situation, showing triangular eyes like pig eyes. There were also stories about work. After learning that things would succeed, they set religious boundaries and began preparing to invite Shakya Shri (ཤཱཀྱ་ཤྲཱི་) from Dromo (གྲོ་མོ) to eastern India by land. It was announced: 'Inviting the Dharma Lord Shakya Shri, if anyone can offer gold, that would be great. If not, even borrowing is fine.' Most people laughed, and the news of the invitation spread widely. But only two gold coins were raised. He had an official named Tsepon Tsetsa (ཚེ་དཔོན་ཚེ་ཚ་) imprisoned for failing in the conflict between the Shab (ཤབ་) five gates and three clans. He covered the prison with grass, imprisoned him inside, and helped him escape, giving him Dharma robes and a shawl, saving his life, which was equivalent to his own age. Immediately afterwards, they embarked on the road to India, departing at dawn on the seventh day of the Horse month in the Wood Rat year. An old hermit named Geshe Torchar (དགེ་བཤེས་གཏོར་ཆར་), who was a recluse, heard about this and came to ask if help was needed for the invitation, and they met at dawn. He was about to recite the Tashi Tsenmang Sutra. An early guest brought a very good white horse, decorated with horse gear, etc., and carrying a pair of containers filled with fruit. When he wanted to test the words of the horse leader, the man said: 'Well established Dharma banner!' In the border of Chowo (ཅོ་རོ), in the two places of Nyachak (གཉའ་ཆད་) and Ga (གད་), some auspicious dreams occurred. When they arrived in Pagri (ཕག་རི་), the food also ran out. When the Dromo (གྲོ་མོ) team passed on the message, it was said that Bedur (བེ་དྷུར་), although it was beyond the scope of Dromo, there was a market near the entrance of Dromo, so it was called Bedur. It is said that from Bedur, after eighteen days, they arrived in India proper, but in the Jagadhala (ཛ་ག་དྷ་ལ་) region, this news was outdated. Because he was a disciple of Jé Drubthob (Supreme Accomplisher) at the time of empowerment, I went to ask him to be a guide. Although he was in very strict retreat, I heard that a real translator was living there. He opened the door of the retreat and ran out to greet me. Whatever I do, there will be an auspicious sign, so he said I should stay here for three days. Even though I was in a hurry, he said that. Previously, I had wanted to ask Lama Zhang Rinpoche for teachings, but I didn't ask, and I regretted it. I also regretted not asking Densa Bawa Rinpoche, who was on my right hand side at the time.
