He said, 'Don't be arrogant.' Previously, after the copper statue was completed, during the ceremony to pray for the removal of obstacles, I also requested that all the oral teachings be imparted to the artisans. But he replied, 'This cannot be achieved through oral teachings, but through blessings, so let it be natural.' From this, after detailed discussions, it was learned that previously, Tibetan blacksmiths, after hammering copper plates, stole some thick copper plates and hid them in stone crevices, which later appeared in the dream of Geshe Yeshe Wo (Tibetan: གནས་བརྟན་ཡེ་ཤེས་འོད་, Meaning: Holy Light). Also, the upper and lower parts of the copper statue could not be aligned no matter what, and later Lhazo Akhu (Tibetan: ལྷ་བཟོ་ཨ་ཁུ, Meaning: Divine Artisan Akhu) received guidance in a dream. When the shape of the right hand was difficult to make, the carpenter Gun Sangye Drak (Tibetan: དཔོན་སེང་གེ་གྲགས, Meaning: Lion's Roar) received guidance on the mechanical device in a dream. All of these are the result of blessings.' Because he knew that these subtle connections were all blessings, he was very reverent. To make amends for the mistake of carving on the feet, previously at Riwo Jekang (Tibetan: རི་བོ་བྱ་རྐང་ཅན, Meaning: Bird Foot Mountain), the teacher Tokme (Tibetan: ཐོགས་མེད, Meaning: Asanga) practiced Maitreya Buddha, and after twelve years, Maitreya Buddha appeared on the rock. Lachen Drakthangpa Lotsawa (Tibetan: བླ་མ་བྲག་སྟེང་པ་ལོ་ཙྪ་བ, Meaning: Lachen Drakthangpa Translator) imitated the practice of bringing Maitreya Buddha's footprints from the stone to Tibet, and drew one hundred and eight footprints of Mipham Rinpoche (Tibetan: མི་ཕམ་པ, Meaning: Invincible) and spread them widely. Teacher Tokme spread the footprints according to the number of years. One of the materials for the initial construction of Ganden Lower Monastery (Tibetan: དགའ་ལྡན་གྱི་འཁྱམས་སྨད, Meaning: Ganden Lower Monastery) was this. After the great initiation, many great spiritual friends were gathered, and they jointly requested the Dharma King (Tsongkhapa) and his entourage not to go to Kashmir. In particular, everyone pleaded with him to stay in various ways, but he did not agree, saying, 'Kashmir has important matters.' On the way, he had a slight illness at Donyori (Tibetan: དོན་ཡོ་རི, Meaning: Donyo Mountain), and everyone strongly dissuaded him, but he did not agree, saying, 'There are no obstacles.' On the way, he went from the road of Magar (Tibetan: མ་གར, Meaning: Magar) to Latö Lho (Tibetan: ལ་སྟོད་ལྷོ, Meaning: Latö Lho), spreading boundless benefits. For Michinnam (Tibetan: མི་ཆེན་ནམ, Meaning: Great Person) or Dünpa Kyangreng (Tibetan: སྟོན་པ་སྐྱང་རེང, Meaning: Kyangreng Teacher), He also gave the precious 'Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra', and also gave gold, sometimes one or two liangs, or enough pashmina for one person to carry. When he arrived at Langri of Gungthang (Tibetan: གུང་ཐང་གི་གླང་རི, Meaning: Langri of Gungthang), there were many meat, butter, and tsampa, which he distributed to the monasteries and spiritual friends. He himself collected gold and turquoise and other items and handed them over to Dakri Lotsawa (Tibetan: སྟག་རི་ལོ་ཙ་བ, Meaning: Dakri Translator), saying, 'It is necessary to extract the essence from worthless possessions, so from today onwards, you will take care of these.'

Then, all the gold was poured out, amounting to 136 measures. After sealing, it formed three packages: a secret package, a begging bowl, and a container. These were piled together, and then the translator was called and handed over to him. I said to him, 'Before, I gave you a lot of gold, and you practiced the great deity, accomplishing great deeds. This secret package, even if you search, you will not find, so take good care of it.' Because he had already been given countless gold, his heart was filled with gratitude. 'This gold, also use it to offer to the Kashmiris, as gifts, etc. The journey is long, and a lot of provisions are needed, so please take these with you. All the secrets are accomplishments, please accept.' After praying in this way, he hid them in medicine boxes, etc. Then, he was escorted to a place called Ebalta, between Gungtang (place name) and Globo (place name). Due to the reluctance of parting, tears kept flowing. Because he was going to leave tomorrow, he composed a prayer full of sadness, weeping and praying. The verses of the prayer are: King of the five wisdoms, supreme holder of asceticism, future Buddha, loving without attachment, compassionate savior, embraced by the great bliss deity, I prostrate to Dharma Lord Shakya Shri (person's name)! Lamp of the teachings, like the sun of Marme Dzepa (person's name), manifesting light after passing away, possessing the clear light of the three trainings, wisdom as full as the full moon, please reside on the crown of my head! East, West, China, Tibet, the four continents of Kashmir, well propelled by the wind of aspiration, manifesting light, in the future, attaining peace in the sky of Tushita (Buddhist term, one of the six heavens of the desire realm, where Maitreya Bodhisattva resides). At that time, may I have the memory to serve your foot dust! After the Panchen (title for Panchen Lama) like the sun and moon has fallen in this red-faced land (referring to Tibet), how can I, like a firefly, illuminate this vast land? Therefore, please grant me the two benefits (benefit oneself and others) with fruit!' This is the prayer. The next day at dawn, he sent a servant, saying, 'You go to him quickly.' Some thought, 'There might be a severe scolding.' Feeling afraid, they hurried away. In order to dispel the dissatisfaction of the Kashmiris, he gave a jar of milk and yogurt, and said, 'Today I have to leave, so you rely on these milk and yogurt to get through this time.' After saying this, he sent them away. When he saw that there was no one else, he said to Mahalotsawa (title for the great translator) Mahakagyawa Hula (person's name), 'Stretch out your hands.' When he stretched out his hands, he placed his gold package on them, and the weight of the gold made him gasp. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
