The great and excellent master (panchen rinpoche). Having approached him, he received the precious oral instructions (sung ngag rin po che), including empowerments, blessings, and the stages of the path (lam skor). He received the four golden teachings of the Shangpa Kagyu (shangs pa) and so on. Having relied on the omniscient master of knowledge, Drakzer Sakya Butonpa (drag zer sa kya bu ston pa), he received the precepts, practices, empowerments, blessings, and many instructions of the glorious Sakya (sa kya pa) tradition. In particular, he received the explanatory tradition of the three tantras of Hevajra (kyai dorje), adorned with the union of the two truths (zung), and the precious oral instructions surrounded by the four fundamental pillars (gzhung shing bzhi), listening to and understanding the stages of the path. Having relied on the knowledgeable Nyakton Jangchub Sengge (gnyag ston byang chub seng ge), who holds the treasury of vast learning, he received many empowerments, blessings, and instructions. Furthermore, he listened without reservation to all the translated words of the Buddha (bka') and treatises (bstan bcos) along with their commentaries in the land of snows (khawa can, referring to Tibet). The master imparted the teachings without concealing anything. Having relied on the great sthavira Gyalwa Zangpo (rgyal ba bzang po pa), he received empowerments, subsequent permissions (rjes gnang), and many other aspects of the Dharma. Having approached the diligent and virtuous Khenpo Khyungo (khyung po pa), he entered the doors of the Action Tantras (bya ba) and Performance Tantras (spyod pa), and in particular, he entered the door of the Yoga Tantras (rnal 'byor), receiving Vajradhatu (rdo rje dbyings) and many other teachings. Having respectfully relied on the great accomplished Jampa Pal (byams pa dpal), the clear and unobstructed one, he received the precepts, blessings, and almost all the oral instructions of the Khyungo yogi (khyung po rnal 'yor pa). Furthermore, he listened to many scriptures and reasonings from the assemblies of those who hold the scriptures (sde snod 'dzin pa). Thus, it should be understood. In particular, when he wished to meet the omniscient Sangtro (kun mkhyen gsang khrod pa), On that dawn, the omniscient Gangtro (gangs khrod pa) dreamed of the full moon of the fifteenth day rising. Upon awakening, he said to his attendants, 'Today, a fortunate and destined one will come, so let whoever comes enter.' Immediately, when Je Rinpoche (rje) arrived, he was very pleased. He said, 'I can offer whatever Dharma you desire to the great abbot (slob dpon chen po).' But at that time, he was studying the Pramanavarttika (rnam 'grel), so he did not have the opportunity to listen. Then, the omniscient Gangtro (gangs khrod pa) gave him a beautiful golden statue of Manjushri ('jam pa'i dbyangs), establishing an auspicious connection for wisdom. From then on, his memory became better than before, as he himself said. He also gave him a beautiful monastic robe, establishing an auspicious connection for pure morality. Now, he serves as the abbot for thousands of monks, and his perfect morality is a testament to this. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please grant a connection of auspiciousness. This is to gather the blessings of everyone.' Second, regarding the categories of qualities of realization, there are three: The way of seeing the Lama and Yidam and receiving prophecies; the way of Dakinis and Dharma Protectors accepting commands; and the way of mastering Samadhi and Abhijna. First, regarding the way of seeing the Lama and Yidam: 1-267 During a strict retreat of five months at Byang Ra Treng, one dawn, in a dream, I dreamt of an old house, said to be the residence of Je Thamched Khyenpa Sonam Gyaltsen (rje thams cad mkhyen pa bsod nams rgyal mtshan, all-knowing lord Sonam Gyaltsen), slightly larger than the old U-tse of Gye Tagchenba. There was someone who had painted his face yellow. Je Thamched Khyenpa was also sitting there. Je said, 'I am appointing you as the owner of this house.' Then he granted me something. I woke up immediately. Upon waking, I practiced Lama Yoga and prayed. From dawn until noon, Je Lama himself, wearing a maroon robe and a hat, appeared clearly, as if seen in person. I was immersed in Samadhi. Je said that some other wonderful blessings also occurred. That day, representatives from Drikung ('bri khung, place name) and Nyanpo Monastery (nyan po dgon pa, monastery name) gathered, and because a dream omen indicated that going to Nyanpo would be better, I accepted the invitation from Nyanpo. From then on, in the Aie ('phan yul, place name) region, the teachings and activities of Jetsun Sakyapa (rje btsun sa skya pa, venerable Sakyapa) father and sons were promoted and developed. Furthermore, during a strict three-year retreat at Sakya's old Utse (dBu rtse, palace name), one dawn, in a dream: 1-268 I met the great Sakyapa (sa skya pa chen po, great Sakya master). He gave me a book written with white clay on a slate, about the size of ten digits. He said, 'Keep these in your mind.' After keeping them in my mind, I felt immeasurable joy. Then, Sachen (sa chen, place name) merged into my heart. I woke up immediately. First, I felt comfortable and clear. After a while, my whole body became numb. When I fell asleep again, the illness disappeared, and I was clearer than before, and the Samadhi was clearer. I experienced extraordinary joy. The venerable one said that this prompted me to have the idea of compiling the works of Jetsun Gongma (rje btsun gong ma, venerable Gongma) father and sons. Furthermore, during a retreat in the same place, one dawn, in a dream, in a huge tent, Jetsun Chenpo (rje btsun chen po, great lord) had a throne for teaching all three tantras. The great Sakyapa master was sitting on it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
