Stories of liberating beings from darkness with teachings from tens of thousands of miles away; Stories of pacifying fire in the palace through blessings; and stories of purifying the turbid waters of the Machu River with blessings, thus saving beings; In the regions of Do and Kham, stories of tens of thousands afflicted by smallpox and demonic influences being pacified by your arrival and blessings; in short, liberating from the fears of humans and non-humans is the gift of fearlessness. Fourth is the gift of loving-kindness: with an equanimous mind towards all, through direct and indirect means, bestowing temporary and ultimate happiness, focusing solely on benefiting and establishing beings in virtue. With Dharma and worldly wealth like an ocean, fulfilling the hopes of whatever each being needs, and then generously giving, you are the great treasure of unbearable generosity, I bow to you. Second, learning ethics: learning the ethics of vows, learning the ethics of gathering virtue, learning the ethics of benefiting sentient beings, there are three. Respectively, meticulously guarding against even the slightest transgressions of the Pratimoksha and Bodhisattva vows, cherishing and fully upholding the vows and all their precepts; Likewise, all that should be abandoned and all that should be learned, are all diligently undertaken solely for the sake of others. Not stained by the slightest transgressions, solely with pure virtuous conduct, never forgetting to benefit others, you are adorned with the aggregate of ethics, I bow to you. Third, learning the perfection of patience: towards those who hold wrong views and revile, and all the retinue who create obstacles, you are especially loving, and focus solely on benefiting them through direct or indirect means. Faultless you, even if there are groups creating obstacles for you, although powerful you are able to subdue them, loving you especially care for them, you are always patient, I bow to you. You never forget the great deeds, not even for a moment; No one has ever seen you dwelling in an ordinary manner; passing days and nights with Dharma, it is clear to everyone until today. You, with the great conduct of a Bodhisattva, Always with unwavering diligence, perfecting everything in an instant. Homage to you—the one who has perfected diligence! Fifth, learning the Perfection of Dhyana (Meditation): From a young age, you have been devoted to solitude, abandoning all elaborations, and have long practiced profound Śamatha-Vipassanā (Calm Abiding and Insight), gaining stability. You remain unmoving in the wisdom of Vipaśyanā (Special Insight), spending time with the aforementioned altruistic activities. The benefits, such as realization, luminosity, and clairvoyance, will be explained later. You are not attached to offerings and clamor, in a solitary place, with the union of Śamatha and Vipaśyanā, profound Samadhi liberates your mind. Homage to you—the one who has mastered excellent Dhyana! Sixth, learning the Perfection of Prajñā (Wisdom): With the correct view, through hearing and thinking, cutting off superimposition and denial, generating definitive wisdom with the wisdom born from meditation. You have reached the other shore of the ocean of learning, are not confused about the true nature of the Three Piṭakas, and have gained unobstructed confidence. With innate, habitual, and meditative wisdom, Regarding all knowable objects, as they are and as many as they are, you have no confusion in any way. Homage to you—the one who has reached the end of the ocean of wisdom! Thus, in the state of possessing the six Pāramitās, you skillfully gather tens of thousands of beings with the four Saṅgrahavastus (means of gathering), ripen their minds with the Bodhisattva vows, and place the great conduct of the Bodhisattva on the battlefield.
