Furthermore, disciples should not abandon their previous teachers (though the writing says "not abandon," this is also acceptable), and should not despise them, this is the sixth. Towards the Dharma that one believes in and practices, one should not excessively favor and praise, nor forcefully praise; towards the Dharma that one does not believe in or practice, one should not be biased in belittling or forcefully belittling, this is the seventh. (From the Dzogchen version: "Not biased in belittling and not forcefully belittling, this is the seventh.") Those seeking Dharma should also not excessively desire attention or keep distance; those giving Dharma should also bestow according to the rituals they are capable of, without adding or subtracting, and should also truthfully declare their own Dharma authority without concealment, this is the eighth. Possessing these eight, the Vajra Fence will naturally become strong. Furthermore, there are five kinds of defiled individuals: one is those who have broken their vows; two are those who have committed murder; three are those who make a living through evil deeds; four are those who make a living by relying on leprosy and other evil diseases; five are those who act as teachers for these people. Those who make a living through evil deeds are, for example, butchers, hunters, thieves, prostitutes, and the like. If these five kinds of people are mixed with vows, there will be nine great faults, which will cause the Vajra Fence to break. These nine faults are: one is violating the teachings of the secret mantra, because it is mentioned many times in both outer and inner mantras that one should not associate with those who have broken their vows. One should not associate with murderers, extremely sinful people, and should not sleep with impure people, this comes from the Susiddhikara (Sanskrit: Susiddhikara-mahātantra-sādhanopāyika-paṭala, Tibetan translation: The Chapter on the Order of Methods for Accomplishing the Great Tantra of Good Accomplishment, this should be its source). One should not accept those who make a living through evil deeds as vow-holders, this comes from the Secret General Tantra. Therefore, violating the teachings is the first fault. If these people are included in the Dharma, all the retinue will inevitably engage in sinful deeds, and one will become the leader of sin, this is the second fault. Previously, when the sacred Dharma was translated in Tibet, the mantra practitioners stipulated that defiled people should not enter the Buddhist gate. Violating and destroying the previous good regulations, this is the third fault. The Vajra protectors of the secret mantra and the pure dakinis will be annoyed, and the mantra practitioners

Four, disasters and obstacles occur on the ground. Five, mantras and secret mantras are stained by the actions of defilement, leading to the non-accomplishment of siddhis. Six, due to the actions of defilement weakening the power of secret mantras, the strength and blessings become small, causing the decline of the Dharma. Seven, the fault of the sacred Dharma becoming unseemly. Eight, for a person who acts in this way, no one will praise them, thinking that this person will not have power and ability, thus generating the fault of contempt, and on top of that, it will become the basis for the separation of Vajra brothers and sisters. For example, if the master keeps the vows pure, but the disciple is impure, the master will feel ashamed of the disciple. Similarly, if the disciple keeps the vows pure, but the master is impure, the disciple will feel ashamed of the master. Because the views and actions cannot be coordinated, jealousy and strife will naturally arise, and this will also be the case among Vajra brothers and sisters. Furthermore, they will accuse each other and say uncomplimentary things. In response, the other party will also be angry and speak evil words. Due to these reasons, Vajra brothers and sisters will naturally become jealous and divided. Therefore, the rule was made not to mix the five kinds of defiled people with the vows. If some people seek help for food and wealth due to poverty, and cannot avoid contact with defiled people, then everyone should allow it, without slander, treating them only as outsiders, and not allowing them to enter the mandala. They can only be friends as outsiders. Two, one should not hold a feast offering with four kinds of impure things: namely, impure objects, impure rituals, impure enjoyment, and impure dedication. Among them, impure objects refer to those made from things obtained by killing and taking without permission. Impure rituals refer to having time limits, being lazy, and acting carelessly. Impure enjoyment refers to being greedy and hoarding. Impure dedication refers to not dedicating to the unsurpassed state of enlightenment. Acting in this way will have the fault of contradicting the Buddha's words, naturally generate the fault of being associated with sin, the fault of suffering due to increased obscurations, the Dharma protectors of the feast offering will be displeased, leading to the non-accomplishment of activities and siddhis, the fault of generating obstacles, and not being praised.
