and. For the Victorious Ones, have faith and Bodhicitta, and be without laziness towards secret mantras. Just as a king possesses seven qualities and tirelessly subdues beings, similarly, a mantra practitioner with seven qualities, if even more diligent, can subdue sins. It is said. Among them, the discipline of vows is the foundation and root of Bodhicitta. Diligence is encouragement. Patience is holding. Faith is the cause. Secret mantra is swift accomplishment. Hearing is without laziness, it is the nature of the seven limbs of enlightenment. The self-nature of Bodhicitta is: here it is the power of the aspiration mind, if one has this mind, then one can hold all vows. Even if the Pratimoksha vows are broken and cannot be restored, one can rely on the power of this mind to take them, and there is nothing that cannot be obtained. It is said. Furthermore, abandoning the four root downfalls and fully taking Bodhicitta is not only the rule of the Secret Mantra, but is also taught from the Paramita Vehicle. That is, the four bases of training and the four root downfalls are followed, and they are declared as the root downfalls of Bodhisattvas. For example, in the "Twenty Vows Sutra," it says: "Attached to gain and respect, Praising oneself and disparaging others." This means that it arises from the basis of practicing attachment, abandoning the aspiration mind, and therefore becomes the downfall of abandoning Bodhicitta. Although all downfalls are branches of abandoning Bodhicitta, here it is specifically pointed out that it abandons the aspiration mind. It also says: "To the poor and helpless, Stingily not giving Dharma and wealth." This means that it arises from the basis of not giving, abandoning the mind of protection, and becoming the root downfall called stinginess. It also says: "Even if others confess, Not listening and scolding in anger." This means that it arises from the basis of killing, abandoning the heart of love, and becoming the root downfall called harmful intent. It also says: "Abandoning the Great Vehicle, Teaching what appears to be similar Dharma." This means that it arises from the basis of lying.

become. Abandoning skillful means is called abandoning the true Dharma, which is a fundamental downfall. Therefore, here, the four parajikas mentioned in the Pratimoksha Sutra and the four parajikas of Bodhisattvas are explained in a consistent manner. Among them, the four main actions, such as killing, etc., sometimes, if practiced with skillful means, there are times when they do not become faults. However, abandoning the true Dharma, abandoning the mind of enlightenment, being stingy, and having harmful thoughts, these four root sins cannot be taken over by means and wisdom, and are inherently afflictive. Therefore, the faults of the Mahayana are known as three types: natural, prescribed, and actual. In the Hinayana, precepts and wisdom without skillful means are taught. Therefore, whatever is an actual fault is also a natural fault. Therefore, in that text, faults are divided into two categories. In the Mahayana sutras, there are also explanations that follow that approach, which are taught in order to lead the Shravakas into the Mahayana. As it is said in the Vairochana Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment, the ten virtues that are taken over by skillful means and wisdom should be properly adopted, and the five precepts should also be taken. It is also said that the four root downfalls are devoid of skillful means and wisdom, and are inherently afflictive. It is said that the precepts without skillful means in the sutras are also taught to guide the Shravakas. As it is said, after teaching the ten virtues taken over by skillful means: Secret Lord, there are two types of Bodhisattvas, which two? Namely, householders and renunciates. Among them, the householder Bodhisattva lives at home, upholds the five precepts, and governs the kingdom with various means and methods. Secret Lord, if a Bodhisattva wishes to attain omniscience by the power of place and time, then he should completely take over with skillful means, display various skillful arts such as singing, dancing, music, and illusion, and gather things with those means and methods.
