The skillful means of union and liberation, and the manifest union and liberation. Among them, the union and liberation of self-nature is: Since all dharmas are originally enlightened, all sentient beings naturally abide in the realm of nirvana. Thus, knowing this is the great union. If one can realize it, everything is naturally liberated, hence it is also called great liberation. The union and liberation of sense faculties, objects, and time is: The six sense faculties are the nature of skillful means, i.e., the six lineages. The six objects are the nature of wisdom, i.e., the six objects. The six consciousnesses are the non-dual bodhicitta, the nature of the dharmakaya. Thus, knowing this is union. If one can realize it, everything is also naturally liberated. Therefore, one should know that these two are to be viewed in the manner of the two truths. The union and liberation of samadhi is: The samadhi of continuously familiarizing oneself with these, and relying on the mudra of wisdom, meditating on the meaning as previously explained, and benefiting sentient beings through the emanation of samadhi, and so on. The skillful means of union and liberation is: Liberating sentient beings who abide in the ocean of samsara through the skillful means of the three vehicles, and uniting them with the three kinds of enlightenment. The manifest union and liberation is: Accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others by relying on the karma mudra, and accomplishing through the compassionate manifestation for those who do not have the capacity to be tamed by skillful means, and so on. Therefore, one should know that the meaning of union and liberation encompasses all the activities of the Buddha in general. Among them, taking what is not given, lying, and harsh speech are also compassionate actions. As mentioned above, one acts to tame beings with actions that are in accordance and harmony. The five vows to be known are: All defiled dharmas are contained within the five aggregates of appropriation, and all undefiled dharmas are also contained within the five families and five wisdoms. Realizing that these two are indivisible like a vajra is the vow to be known. The vow to be practiced is: To make it familiar and integrated into oneself. These methods are known as the twenty-eight vows of the general conduct of yogis. These methods.

The major root downfalls to be protected are said to be four: From the heart, disparaging the body of the Vajra Master; Abandoning the mind of enlightenment; Denouncing the Dharma of equality; Quarrelling with Vajra siblings. These are known as extremely intolerable actions. In some texts, these are known as common, special, and more special samayas. As in the Vajra Garland, the Vidyadharas with human skulls, in front of the Bhagavan, requested the confession of vows, saying: 'Compassionate lineage Vajra Skull-Bearer, We, the lords of arrogance, gather here, For the sake of benefiting beings, generating the mind of enlightenment, For the sake of attaining the unsurpassed state, The individual disciplines of the ocean of teachings, The supreme of body, speech, and mind, and the union of vows, The constant protection of the unbreakable Vajra vows, The common, special, and more special vows, We have received and promised to uphold them in the past and future.' As it is said. That is to say, according to the texts, deities, and individuals, the common, special, and more special vows are taught, as mentioned above. Here, we will explain the slightly different parts in the Great Yoga Tantras. Among them, the common vows are known as the vows of conduct, the vows of practice, and the vows of constancy. Among them, the vows of conduct are explained through examples, as follows: The vows of conduct and practice, Go at the beginning of all vows. (Like a fox) Like a fox and the corpse of a jackal (like a horse) and, Inseparably taking and rejecting the great enemy (like the sun) lord. (Like an elephant) Extremely like a drunken elephant's mind, The brave conduct of a tiger is fierce and violent. (Temporarily like a tiger) (Like a Garuda) The soaring great Garuda does not look back. (Like a bear's conduct) The short, stout great bear faces one. (Like gold, steadfast) The mind can endure and not retreat, like a treasure of the sea. (Like a sheep) Ignorant, mute, possessing the aspect of wisdom. (Steadfast like a mountain) Like a mountain, unmoving, greatly steadfast. (Like the sky, encompassing all) Like the sky, vast, free from all narrowness. (Sometimes practicing fiercely) Like an iron thunderbolt, possessing the fierceness of the tongue. Like Vajrapani (steadfast) the lord of conduct.
