If someone asks, are the afflictions grasped by skillful means not abandoned? Just as one stirs up great mud for the sake of cultivating a lotus garden, and collects impure piles of rot for the sake of cultivating saffron. Similarly, Bodhisattvas, in order to liberate sentient beings who have not been liberated, to free those who have not been freed, and to release those who have not escaped samsara and have not completely attained nirvana from samsara, generate the unsurpassed mind of great Bodhi, without relying on others. Having taken all sentient beings as their own, generating the view of the aggregates as Mount Meru, these become the very cause of great Bodhi. Just as the faults of mud and rot do not appear at all to the lotus and saffron, but all qualities appear. Likewise, in the paths and resultant dharmas of Bodhisattvas, the faults of those afflictions that are intentionally generated do not appear at all, but all qualities appear. Therefore, the Bhagavan said in many Mahayana sutras, "The Tathagatas are born from afflictions, therefore the lineage of the Tathagatas is affliction." Like this. So, how can one not abandon great afflictions? As it is said, "Because the cause itself is perfected as the fruit, knowing one great perfection, even those who wish to destroy should train on this path." Like this. For example, on one substance that is the basis of common appearance, having the form of the great elements, ghosts see poison and weapons, etc., as cruel and harsh, and unpleasant things. Humans see the same substance as edible, and gods see it as nectar. When what is considered poison is exhausted, then the thought of what is considered nectar also ceases. Therefore, for this, cause and effect, incompatibility and antidote cannot be established as two. Therefore, viewing all dharmas as being enlightened as the fruit without distinction is also called the Fruit Vajrayana. As it is said: "Ignorance is the clarity of wisdom, attachment is applied to the meaning of Dharma, hatred is in the state of great compassion, pride dissolves into the peaceful Dharma, jealousy is applied to the meaning of abandonment, afflictions and suffering are Bodhi."

Upa Che! Just like greed, hatred, delusion, and arrogance, jealousy, etc., these great afflictions, because of the Bodhicitta, the Tathagata like a Vajra appears. In short, these vows of not abandoning afflictions are because one realizes that the nature of afflictions is empty, and understands that when moistened with wisdom and compassion, they become the cause of great Bodhi, and recognizes that cause and effect are inseparable, and that all are enlightened in the Dharma of the fruition, so one knows that they should not be abandoned. If one does not realize this, and without confidence, is still bound by the illusion of self-grasping, thinking that there is no need to abandon afflictions, and relies on the greatness of the Buddha's teachings to live recklessly, then naturally, without effort, one will be dominated by the illusion of afflictions, driven by the wind of the dream of conceptualization, and the mind will always wander in the empty city of the sense bases. The five vows of acceptance are the substances of the vows of the five families and the five wisdoms, namely the five kinds of nectar. Accepting these is for offering to the noble ones, for empowering disciples, for accomplishing siddhis, for taking the conduct of the deities, to be tasted as the substance of the vows, and for reversing the conceptualization of grasping and being grasped, it is said that the conceptualization of purity and impurity is reversed by the conduct of equality. However, the cause of accomplishment is that the sages are accomplished by pure food, objects, and conduct, while the dakinis are accomplished by impure food, objects, and impure conduct. However, it can be accomplished in any way, but in order to transform everything into equality, the vow of acceptance is mainly proclaimed. Therefore, the yogi should also rely on the vow of acceptance and should not be attached to all conceptualizations of characteristics. However, ordinary people, relying solely on the vow of "there is no purity or impurity," abandon caution, and are disrespectful to stupas, statues, and scriptures, etc., abandon cleanliness and other practices, carelessly touch and place them, or treat them with contempt by stepping on them, etc., which is not good.
