In language, calling this nectar is a word of hidden meaning, for it is a great poison. Nectar refers to those ordinary nectars that are suitable for the individual, and this is indicated with hidden meaning. However, saying that the essence of Brahma is the supreme nectar is not a word of hidden meaning. Similarly, stating that thoughts are equal, actions are equal, and that the meaning is summarized as view and conduct being inseparable, and showing it as the nature of the Vajra Bodhicitta, this is the definitive meaning and not a word of hidden meaning. However, for some who are to be tamed, it is necessary to teach with words of hidden meaning. Furthermore, just as one who does not have the power to consume the great nectar can still pacify many harms by merely relying on it, so too, regarding these profound principles of the equality of Dharma, even if one does not have the power to practice them, by understanding their meaning and familiarizing oneself with them in the mind, it becomes an antidote to the view of self, and thus the illusions of afflictions will naturally be pacified. Therefore, these great actions, although proclaimed as the vows of conduct for holy beings, should also be regarded as the vows of view for all yogis. If someone were to say: In the great yoga tantras, if there is a unified principle and a principle suitable for all yogis to protect in common, then there would be no need to separately proclaim these principles. This is considering the capacity of those to be tamed. Although all the vehicles of the Buddha's teachings possess skillful means and wisdom, and it seems that both view and conduct are taught to be liberated from the two extremes, due to the different levels of the vehicles, there are detailed explanations of view and conduct, and there are also broad explanations. Even within a single text, these modes of explanation are fully contained, and within these modes, there are also distinctions between those that emphasize skillful means and those that emphasize wisdom, and these should be understood. For example, some sutras say that the Hearer's Vehicle lacks skillful means and wisdom, and some say that it lacks skillful means, but this is a minor negation, not without basis. If it were without basis, how could one attain liberation? Just like the manifest enlightenment of...

In the scriptures, it is said that the Shravakas abide in the teachings devoid of skillful means, but within the same scriptures, in the explanation of the Samadhi of the Shravakas, it is mentioned: Secret Lord, furthermore, those who abide in the realm of the Shravakas with objects of focus, realizing birth and death, by destroying the two extremes, do not engage in the wisdom of utter non-existence because they do not perceive a cause. This is the manner of Samadhi for the Shravakas. Secret Lord, Pratyekabuddhas, having completely analyzed cause and effect, those who abide in the manner of Dharma that is inexpressible, generate the thought that all Dharmas are inexpressible, thereby truly attaining the Samadhi of complete cessation of speech; this is the manner of Samadhi for the Pratyekabuddhas. Thus it is said. Here, the term 'not perceiving a cause' means that the Tirthikas (non-Buddhists) claim that 'self' is a permanent cause, but they realize the absence of self and realize the birth and death of the skandhas; because there is birth, it is not death, and because there is death, it is not permanent. Therefore, they are liberated from the two extremes of wisdom's view. It is said that the practice of skillful means is also liberated from the two extremes, like the Brahmanical ascetics or Tirthikas, the extreme of extreme exhaustion of the body, and like ordinary beings, attachment to the pleasure of alms, thereby increasing sinful and unwholesome Dharmas. It is said that they have abandoned these two extremes. Although they are thus similarly summarized within the scope of the Lesser Vehicle, among them, like the Sthavira Nikaya and the Kāśyapīya Nikāya, for the Brahmanical ascetics to be tamed, they elaborately and meticulously demonstrate the views and practices based on the Vinaya; and like the Sarvāstivāda Nikāya, for the Shakya clan renunciates to be tamed, they demonstrate the broad and vast views and practices based on the Vinaya. In the Mahayana Sutras, like the Arya Ratnakuta Sutra, the practices of skillful means and wisdom are generally shown; and like the Arya Prajnaparamita Sutra and the Avatamsaka Sutra, profound and vast practices are shown. Among them, like the Arya Prajnaparamita Sutra, it mainly shows the profound aspect; like the Arya Avatamsaka Sutra,
