Do not be afraid! This mind is extremely difficult to tame. When it is equal to a slight obstacle, the mind will become pure. One's own mind is said to be a demon, one's own mind is an obstacle. Abandon all discursive thoughts, all obstacles arise from discursive thoughts. Firmly grasp the tamed mind, and the five desires should be abandoned. Starting from remembering the past, one should practice Vajrasattva. There are four kinds of people in the world, even if they strive for hundreds of kalpas and practice everything according to the Dharma, they will not achieve it. Not generating Bodhicitta, having doubts, not accepting teachings, and not having faith will not lead to achievement. Knowing father and mother, striving to serve Brahma and monks, being pure, peaceful, and disciplined, restraining oneself, and thinking of liberation, not for the sake of royal power, heavenly enjoyment, or the satisfaction of desires, but for the sake of all other sentient beings, one must attain perfect enlightenment. Similarly, know the moderation of food, and be happy not to sleep at night. If greed and hatred arise, do not think of discursive thoughts, and the mind should become very devout, and it must be made unwavering. For the well-spoken and extremely discerning, one should be very happy with the meaning of the Dharma. Do not do the cause of harming sentient beings, do not do violent actions. One should also endure the faults of sentient beings' evil deeds. Mantras, weapons, and various symbols, the bonds of the gods, the inferior ones, and the shadows of the gods, all the symbols of the gods, all kinds of foods, and the characteristics of the symbols, do not be afraid, do not eat, and never trample on them. The property of the Three Jewels should never be used. Even the residue of dust, do not smell the smoke of incense. In the mountains or in the forest, in a clean, pleasant, and secluded place, by the river or in the garden, in a very pleasant green shade, in a clean and delightful temple, in a clean and secluded house, in any place where there is no gathering, focus the mind on the Buddha. Staying with pure companions, residing in such a place is to proclaim the supreme liberation, and truly begin the asceticism of wisdom. Thus it is said.

Also, the conduct of wisdom comes from that very source. The rituals of other tantras, as well as the sutras, after that, take up the conduct of wisdom. One should not abandon the vows, and even for sins as small as dust, one should generate regret. Also, in that very source, the conduct of occasions is spoken of: For six days or seven or eight days, ghee, milk, and rice, the teacher's food is the three white things. Or common food. If one can endure, one should practice without eating day and night. Because the food of the nature of dharma, undoubtedly becomes powerful. Also it is said: When one has begun, until it is not completed, if one can do without eating, one should exert great effort. Having done incense and auspicious things, or eating the three white things. Because the king Vajradhara, will bless. Also, in that very source, it is said: Giving vows, one does not give to the non-believer, but only allows entry. Previously these vows, as they wish, with joy, the wise should give, one should not give without freedom. If he is a faithful person, then one should give him the vows. Also, in that very source, it is said: For beings who are very difficult to tame, one does not let them take vows, and for those who have no faith and purity, one should not refuse entry. Thus, the compassionate Buddha, will become the cause for them. Just by seeing, immediately, the vows will be constantly accomplished. One should give him the vows. For beings of evil nature, angry and severely scolding, or laughing and mocking is also fine. That itself is the cause. Even if there is no faith, no accumulation of roots of virtue, the continuum is not fully matured, even if there is no intention. However, just by seeing it is enough. In general, the common root vows come from that very source: Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, and the main ones, should be solemnly accepted. For the sake of the life of survival, one should not abandon the Bodhicitta. Gods, mantras and mudras are also not allowed. After saying such things, the merits of those are: In the next life one obtains it with sixteen times, and in this life one can also obtain it. Because one has not entered the secret vehicle, the victorious one's
