Should be done. What is the Vajra Mudra? Whoever merely generates it, there is no doubt that they will become a Buddha. The supreme Dharma should not be slandered, nor should it ever be abandoned. Out of ignorance or delusion, the great conduct should not be shown. Having completely abandoned oneself, one should not be tormented by asceticism, and one should comfortably hold whatever is comfortable. This is the future perfect Buddha. One should not disparage the teacher, for this is the same as all Buddhas. Whoever slanders the Guru, who is equal to all Buddhas, by slandering the teacher, they are slandering the Buddha, and will always obtain suffering, plagues, poisons, and earth-poison diseases, harm from the Dakinis, and being killed by evil spirits and wicked guides, and will fall into the hell of the mind. Therefore, with all diligence, the Vajra Guru, who has great wisdom, should not be overly boastful of goodness, nor should they ever be slandered. I will always keep my vows, always make offerings to the Tathagatas, and always make offerings to the Guru as well, for this is the same as all Buddhas. Giving to them is always the same as giving to all Buddhas. By giving to them, one will obtain the supreme Siddhi through the accumulation of merit. Thus it is said. And also, like this, guarding as the Sugata's command, and always guarding the vows, as it is said, is the general teaching. Specifically, it is said that one should not abandon the Bodhicitta, not abandon its Mudra, hold its skillful means, not abandon the supreme Dharma, not know the characteristics of what has not been heard in the continuum of others, not show the great conduct out of ignorance, the characteristics of what has not been heard in one's own continuum, the nature of the Bodhicitta, abandoning the nature of abiding as one's own deity, one should not be tormented by asceticism, and one should not despise the Vajra Guru who gives. Thus, abandoning the six things that should not be done, and always teaching the three things that should be done, thus it is known as seven things. Furthermore, in summary, it is said that by meditating only on the Bhagavan Vajrasattva, the nature of the Bodhicitta, all vows are included, as it is said in that Tantra itself. Bhagavan, glorious Vajrasattva, existence

The supreme of all pure methods, the great secret of all conceptualizations, should be cultivated as a vow. Thus it is said. In the glorious Tattvasaṃgraha, many protective vows are not mentioned. Therein, the cultivation of bodhicitta is mainly taught, and five vows are spoken of according to the vows of the particular deities. Because in that tantra, five kinds of deities are spoken of. Namely, the Tathāgatas and their families, the vajra, the lotus, and the families arising from the jewel. Thus, the five kinds of deities are renowned. In that tantra, the karma family is not separately taught by the power of taming, because it is considered that the agent and the action are not different. Thus it is known. The great mandala of its power, and the four great mandalas of samaya, dharma, and karma are known. And in all the mandalas of the families, the body, speech, mind, and actions become symbols in order. The four mudras, namely, the mahāmudrā, samaya, dharma, and karma mudras, are also explained. Furthermore, the forms of the deities are also said to reside in the forms of essence, mudra, mantra, and vidyāmantra. Therefore, the five vows are spoken of by the distinctions of the five kinds of deities. Among them, the vow of the Tathāgatas is said thus: "Whoever enters into passion, is purified by passion itself. This is the great mudra of the Buddha, it is said to be the samaya of wisdom." Thus it is said. The meaning of this, from the mouth of the master Buddhasguhya, in the practice of entering into the meaning of the tantra, the term "entering into passion" refers to familiarizing oneself with the mind of enlightenment. The term "purified by passion" also means that by familiarizing oneself with the mind of enlightenment and becoming attached to it, one cultivates oneself into the form of the Tathāgata, and one becomes attached to and diligent in maturing and liberating sentient beings. Thus it is taught. The vow of the Tathāgata family is also as follows: "One should not be weary of desire. It is a very great rule of samaya. For the families of the Tathāgatas, even the Victorious Ones do not transgress it." Thus it is said. The word "desire"
