O! The reasoning for establishing validity is: For those who cannot dispel doubts with those, first, the reasoning itself must be well established. For both the proponent and the opponent, first the reasoning must be established, and then, for the sake of those things that need to be measured in meaning, establishing the reasoning itself through means of direct perception and inference is called establishing validity. Although "validity" is also a synonym for reasoning, in order to make the language beautiful, instead of saying "the reasoning of establishing reasoning," it is said "the reasoning of establishing validity." The general characteristic of this is none other than the three: nature, function, and dependence. Therefore, the essence of all reasons is this very nature reason. What is called nature, is also called characteristic, or nature of things, or dharma, all of which belong to the same category. Therefore, the object to be known is also just nature or the nature of things. All the reasons that establish it are also just nature reasons. Therefore, the relation is also just the relation of nature itself. For example, the relation of cause and effect is also just a differentiation of nature itself according to the occasion of need. One should not think, how can things with different entities of cause and effect be related by the same nature? Like this, establishing the relation of cause and effect, there is no other agent of relation or entity of relation. Causes are the characteristic or nature of producing effects, and the nature of effects is just dependence on causes. There is no difference in nature between function and dependence. In reality, it is just that it does not arise without it. Whatever dharma does not arise without it is called being pervaded by it. Therefore, everything is a nature reason. This meaning is also accepted by the teachers who composed the logical treatises of the past. Like this, when explaining that the general characteristic of all reasons is that its dharma is pervasive, if it is not something that does not arise without it, it cannot be pervasive. If it is not pervasive, it cannot be a reason. If it is different, it cannot be pervasive. Therefore, as long as all the established reasons are real,

The logic of peace and self-nature. In short, it should be understood as follows: The nature of all phenomena does not go beyond that, and merely the self-nature itself, if one wants to comprehend it but has not, then one is taking what is to be proven as something that cannot exist elsewhere, and this is the logic, merely the difference is related. Moreover, whenever it does not go beyond that nature, that is the true self-nature. When in a temporary state, as long as it can be proven that it does not go beyond that nature, it is also regarded as self-nature. In short, there are four types of impossibilities: If something does not exist, then it is impossible for something to exist; if something exists, then it is impossible for something not to exist; if something exists, then it is impossible for something to exist; if something does not exist, then it is impossible for something not to exist. Among them, if something does not exist, then it is impossible for something to exist, for example, without a cause, it is impossible for an effect to exist; similarly, without a differentiated one, there is no difference; without one's own essence, there is no one's own essence; without one's own self-nature, there is no its self-nature, and so on. Among them, if something exists, then it is impossible for something not to exist, for example, if there is a distinction of effect, then it is impossible for the cause or its qualities not to exist; similarly, if there is a distinction of having a collection of causes, then the effect or its qualities, and if there is a difference, then the differentiated one, and if there is one's own essence, then it is impossible for one's own essence not to exist, and if it is one's own self-nature, then it is impossible for its self-nature not to exist, and so on. Among them, if something exists, then it is impossible for something to exist, for example, if there are phenomena that are obstacles by nature, then it is impossible for what it obstructs to exist, for example, the sensation of hot and cold, or the phenomena of white and black, and so on. Among them, if something does not exist, then it is impossible for something not to exist, which is the self-nature and the opposite of self-nature, for example, if things do not exist, then it is impossible for emptiness not to exist; similarly, if there is no sign, then the cessation of elaboration, or if there is no aspiration, then the removal of suffering, and so on, or if there is no liberation, then it is impossible for there to be no delusion, and if there is no delusion, then it is impossible for there to be no liberation, and so on. Such self-nature, when using self-nature to prove self-nature, there are two ways: proving the universal self-nature.
