Furthermore, going to a place where there are no virtuous spiritual friends, meditating on the meaning of profound dependent origination, realizing one's own enlightenment by oneself, and directly realizing that fruit itself is the Dharmakaya. At that time, the feeling of suffering ceases, and dwelling in the stream of bliss is the Sambhogakaya. After attaining the fruit, with swift wisdom and so on, performing deeds for the benefit of beings in lands and among retinues through bodily miracles is the Nirmanakaya. The three bodies of a Bodhisattva are: on the four grounds of aspiration and conduct, having abandoned and destroyed the manifest and coarse imprints of grasping and being grasped, when seeing the meaning of suchness on the first ground, the alaya consciousness is transformed into mirror-like wisdom. At the time of equipoise, the non-conceptual wisdom realizes all phenomena as being like the expanse of the sky, which is the Dharmakaya. At that time, the feeling of suffering ceases, the joy of the taste of suchness is experienced, and abiding in a hundred samadhis is the Sambhogakaya. At that time, in the subsequent instant, with the pure worldly wisdom, knowing the dispositions of beings, emanating hundreds of emanations in hundreds of realms is the Nirmanakaya. The spontaneously accomplished three bodies of the Tathagata are: at the end of the ten grounds, the subtlest parts of the alaya consciousness's imprints are completely purified, which is also called the Vajra-like Samadhi, also called the Suchness without Forgetfulness, also called the Single Path, also called the Svabhavikakaya, also called the Uninterrupted Samadhi. At the time of realizing the ultimate limit of reality, just as in a clear mirror all reflections of faces appear and arise, so that wisdom also becomes the place of origin for all great qualities, therefore it is called Mirror-like Wisdom. That wisdom and the suchness of Dharma are inseparable, which is the Dharmakaya. To this, an opponent says that it seems that two different things have become one, but it is not so. Although these two words are different in language, in reality, the object and the subject are inseparable, which gives rise to wisdom.

The cause is the complete purity of Dharmata. Just as Dharmata abides, it is realized by wisdom, so these two are inseparable like a conch shell and the color white. That which is called Dharmakaya: Dharma refers to that which has been the lineage from beginningless time, inherently possessing the essence of Bodhi, naturally abiding in purity. Conceptualization is adventitious. That adventitious conceptualization is like darkness naturally clearing when light appears. When adventitious conceptualization clears in the state of Dharmata, there is no particular bad thing that becomes good. Rather, it refers to the meaning that has always been truly abiding, and the nature becomes true. That which is called Kaya: Kaya is also called that which abides without increase or decrease of qualities, and Kaya is also called that which becomes the cause of the arising of the two Kayas. Thus, it is the Dharmakaya. The Sambhogakaya is: Thus, from the blessing of the spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya, the afflicted mind and the grasping of self are transformed. Because of realizing selflessness, it is equal in the continuums of self and others, becoming the cause of the arising of the wisdom of equality and great compassion. In the time of sentient beings, the lord of all consciousnesses of the mind, which cuts off all dharmas with wisdom, when that is transformed, the omniscient wisdom possessed by the Tathagata, which is the wisdom that knows everything individually, becomes the basis of all dharanis and samadhis, as well as powers and superknowledges. Having accumulated immeasurable merit for countless eons, and from the dharma of countless doors of samadhi, it is the body of Vairochana, adorned with all marks and signs, with a body light of one fathom, infinite rays of light, and always abiding serenely with a loving face. It possesses two wisdoms and performs two benefits, namely, enjoying in pure lands and maturing retinues. Enjoying in pure lands means that on the golden ground, above the countless jewels spread out, is a palace made of various jewels, its size equal to the edge of space, in the center without interruption in the ten directions, there is a jeweled throne.
