Harsh words that become a source of suffering for others should not be spoken. Furthermore, in order to subdue the targets to be slain as mentioned above, one may speak harsh words, recite wrathful secret mantras, and when expounding profound Dharma to a suitable person, one may use malicious words, such as expounding profound views that are contrary to the methods of slaying, worldly customs, and so on. Harsh words should be spoken with a specific purpose. These vows should be protected by the three doors of body, speech, and mind, and should not be transgressed. Among them, regarding the five vows to be practiced, if one cannot do as instructed, one will fall from accomplishment, but it will not become an obstacle, etc. Therefore, it should be compensated by the union of samadhi, slaying, and so on. Regarding the vow not to abandon the five poisons and the five vows to be known, in general, apart from realizing and familiarizing oneself through wisdom and samadhi, there is nothing else that can be particularly practiced and protected by body and speech. Regarding the five vows to be accomplished, these vows are the fruit of practicing properly. Apart from diligently protecting them, there is nothing else that can be particularly protected separately. These are a brief summary of the vows of the great yogi. In general, for the conduct of the deity that is usually and continuously protected, the equal conduct of conduct, the vows, and the vows to be protected in specific circumstances, or the vows that are never used, etc., these additional vows are for the sake of performing the recitation and practice of vows and great recitation and practice, and the recitation and practice performed at different times, so they need to be protected. Therefore, there is no need to obtain them separately from the lama. Initially, when receiving the empowerment, after receiving these common vows, supplement and perfect them, and complete them through frequent posadha, then the subtle precepts can be learned when needed. If these vows are broken, there are two ways to make amends. One scripture says: If the vows are broken, one should re-enter the mandala and receive empowerment and vows. The second scripture says: If the vows are broken, and the situations of mutual breakage between the teacher and fellow practitioners, if not severed by obstacles to life,

Also, it is said that fulfillment comes from inserting the fingers. Regarding the time for observing the sojong (Uposatha), the best practitioner is one who constantly possesses a mind that properly attends to things, and at dawn, first recites and restores the vows of the chosen deity. During the first session, one recites and restores the vows that have been broken and not broken. For the intermediate practitioner, it is acceptable to have the empowerment of a spiritual friend at this time, or not. For the lowest practitioner, one recites and restores during the monthly tenth-day offering. The very lowest practitioner, one asks the teacher and fellow practitioners to be witnesses, and recites and restores during the annual festival offering. As for the faults of breaking and damaging the vows, they are not elaborated on because they are generally known. In short, the life force of all virtuous qualities is the vow. Without this, the power of empowerments and other virtuous qualities cannot exist, as stated by the lord of vows himself. This is Dharma Bhadra's explanation of the permissions and prohibitions of vows. When performing the recitation of secret mantras, although there are eight branches of ritual and many visualizations, to summarize what is seen in the texts: Some first meditate on samadhi and then perform an elaborate ritual of offering to the wisdom deity before reciting. Some do not have these. Regarding the sequence of visualization, some contemplate the ordinary body itself for the sake of sentient beings, abandoning distractions and reciting. Some visualize their own ordinary body transforming into the body of a noble being in the sky and recite. Some place a statue-like form in front of them, considering it inseparable from their own deity of faith, imagining the hairs moving, the face smiling, and so on, and recite. Some visualize themselves as the deity's body, contemplating the letters that appear in places such as the heart, or with symbols such as the vajra, reciting in a way that reads them in the mind. Some visualize a deity in front of them that is similar to themselves, focusing on the deity's body that is inseparable from themselves in the manner of inhaling, and focusing on the deity who is present in front of them in the manner of exhaling. Some, in the same manner, dissolve into the deity in the manner of radiating light, thereby urging the deity and making them happy. They dissolve into themselves in the manner of gathering, thereby receiving accomplishments.
