Accomplishes. The teacher who is free from self and other is a treasure of jewels, showing the compassion of no place and no self where all is accomplished. It is said, "Clinging to an object, there is no aim of dedicating to the object." It is said and so on. Although the mind of enlightenment has no dharma to be directly realized, it fulfills all needs and desires. Although it does not cling to self and other, it perfectly accomplishes the benefit of self and other. Although there is no place to be accomplished, compassion without self arises. Although clinging with compassion for the sake of sentient beings, there is no aim of complete dedication, this is compassion without self. The Jewel Lamp of View also says: Wisdom has no place, free from the dust of clinging, yet compassion does not tire of the realm of sentient beings. It is said. The Lamp of Clear Method and Wisdom says: Sentient beings and Buddhas are truly of one nature, and if you know that your own mind is the Buddha, then there is nothing to be accomplished from elsewhere. Therefore, there is nothing to be abandoned. Having understood such a Dharma, compassion arises completely for the ignorant. Having arisen compassion, with the samadhi of illusion, it shows various ways of benefiting and helping. The way it is said is also like that. In short, understanding the equality of Dharma as non-dual, compassion does not become small, like Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Looking at things as real, compassion does not become great, like Hearers and ordinary people. From the ways of the lower vehicles, from the power of aspiration and meditation, the qualities of the form body will arise. It is said, that is only the power of karma, not the power of the non-dual mind of enlightenment. It is said like this: In the Great Garuda it says: Sound and vast object and appearance, like the image of a magician's drawing. Arising and entering, the wisdom is obscured, and from its power it arises. It is said. Relying on the scriptures of the supreme Dharma, and relying on the power of the Buddha, the appearance of great qualities arises, like the image of an illusion, appearing without reality, or the image of a drawing, originally without high or low, but appearing high and low, like appearing from the power of an obscuring cause, with an object and arising.

Due to the obscurations of clinging to inherent existence, and by the power of the great wisdom being obscured and dimmed, appearances that seem like qualities arise. However, those are not the qualities of the nature of bodhicitta. There is no need to say much, in the way of Dzogchen, there is no fault of the Buddha's teachings being incomplete. This is the chapter on explaining the treatise of Dzogchen, the fifth. Now, for those who cannot abide as they are in the way of Dzogchen, I will explain how to seek the path with methods involving effort, which should also be grasped by the view of Dzogchen. Because the great bliss of bodhicitta is the root of the Dharma, it removes all diseases of bondage. It is said thus: From meditating on bodhicitta, any virtuous Dharma not grasped by Samantabhadra's aspirations, even the practice of Samantabhadra is the work of Mara, which will be exhausted and come to an end. Actions endowed with this (bodhicitta), even the work of Mara, are said to be the practice of enlightenment. It is like that which is said. Regarding this, the methods for taming the mind, from the ways of the Paramitas and the ways of Secret Mantra, many doors appear. For example, abandoning the six faults of meditation and eliminating the ten obscurations, meditation is the path to liberation. It also says: Samadhi that abandons the five faults and possesses the eight activities is the path to liberation. It also says: For the dharmas of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, samadhi that holds, imputes, blocks, analyzes, and destroys is the path to liberation. It also says: Taming the six dharmas that are difficult to tame by nature, through recitation and meditation, is the path to liberation. It also says: Samadhi that focuses on body, mind, and deity is the path to liberation. Like this and so on, although many methods for taming the mind have been taught, one cannot see them all, nor can one explain them all, so for now, I will only explain these. Explaining these doors is because beings enter different paths according to their individual inclinations, and they can also help each other, so I will only explain these. Among them, the six faults of meditation are: being distracted by the power of arising feelings, being dulled by the power of drowsiness and sleepiness, and
