In short, it is to think that one is experiencing the fabrication of the mind's movement, or to think that one is experiencing the immobility, or there is no experience that transcends the terms of these two. Therefore, it is called the path of non-conceptual Madhyamaka. At such a time, one experiences, or after cessation, one knows that one has experienced such a thing, or one is also separated from the appearance of such feelings, and consciousness thinks that this is the meaning. Being separated from the appearance of being able to establish names is called the path of non-conceptual Madhyamaka. This very method is also stated in the "Lamp That Dispels the Darkness of Extremes": "How much non-conceptual profundity, if it appears in the realm of the mind, the experience of non-conceptual profundity, is not it because it is an experience?" It is said that at any time, when there is no way to show others the inconceivable profound meaning of non-discrimination, if one's own mind experiences it, even so, because it is an experience, it is ultimately a discrimination, and it cannot be called seeing the truth. In this way, one's own experience cannot be shown to others, which is the nature of all obvious things. For example, the taste of salt is commonly experienced by humans and most animals, but there is no way to show someone who has not experienced the taste of salt what the taste of salt is like. Similarly, if one has experienced the taste of samadhi, although one cannot show it to others, it cannot be counted as profound, and it is ultimately a discrimination. This method is also stated elsewhere, and it is also called the path of bliss free from feeling, and unsurpassed Bodhi is also said to be free from feeling and free from the realm of the mind. As stated in the Vimalakirti Sutra: "The Able One, with great power, subdued the powerful armies of Mara, and attained the most supreme, peaceful, immortal, and blissful Bodhi, in which there is no feeling mind and no realm of the mind." Just like this. This is said at the time of attaining Bodhi. The difference (distinction) between this (the intention of the Buddha) and seeing the truth is that if there is a slight difference between saying the eight consciousnesses and saying the one consciousness, in short, the reversal of the cause of the manifestation and discrimination is seeing the truth, and the exhaustion of habitual tendencies is Bodhi.

Now it has been obtained. This so-called "seeing the truth" is also a superlative term for not seeing any dharma. As stated in the Vimalakirti Sutra: "Even those who see the truth do not see the truth itself, how much less the false?" Furthermore, as stated in the Condensed Verses: "Sentient beings say they see the sky, how does one see the sky? Consider this meaning. Likewise, the Tathagata taught the seeing of dharma." What is said is similar to that. In short, the samadhi of those who see the truth is free from conceptualization, and sometimes it is said that there is no difference from the Tathagata. However, the term "latent tendencies" refers only to not perceiving subtle conceptualizations. It does not refer to the complete absence of conceptualization. The term anusaya (藏文:ཨ་ནུ་ཤ་ཡ་,梵文天城体:अनुशय,梵文罗马拟音:anuśaya,汉语字面意思:随眠) refers to the name of a crocodile chasing the shadow of a water bird. A shadow is the name of an image. When a bird flies in the sky above the vast ocean, its shadow falls into the sea, and when a crocodile chases the shadow, the bird does not perceive it, this is called anusaya. In the context of the Sutra Pitaka, it is called latent tendencies. In the context of the Abhidharma, it is called subtle manifestation. Later, when the bird lands on the water, the image and the bird become one. When the crocodile chases the bird itself, and the bird clearly perceives it, this is called padyutthana (藏文:པ་དྱུད་ཐ་ན་,梵文天城体:पद्युत्थान,梵文罗马拟音:padyutthāna,汉语字面意思:起), which is called "universal arising." In reality, it is only because of the movement of subtle and coarse conceptualizations, whether experienced or not experienced, that they are called manifestation and latent tendencies. The state of not moving at all does not exist. This principle is also explained in the Sutra Pitaka. As stated in the Sagaramati Sutra: "Sagaramati, from a distance, the great ocean appears very calm, but when you get close, it is not calm. Similarly, the samadhi of bodhisattvas appears very calm, but when seen by the wisdom eye of the Tathagata, it is not calm." Thus it is taught. Furthermore, the nature of the obscuration of knowledge is also, in the state of meditative equipoise, after obtaining the abiding of the mind, it is said that subtle conceptualizations exist without being perceived. It is said: "What is the obscuration of knowledge of bodhisattvas? The abiding of the mind is suchness."
