It is not (real). It is said that Dharma means each's own Dharma or nature. If it depends on others, it will not become one's own Dharma. For example, when establishing the Dharma of things, if the light and heat of a burning glass do not need to depend on the sun, and the burning glass is established as the nature of heat, it will not be established because of dependence. Fire is hot without depending on others, so fire is established as the Dharma of heat. When establishing the Dharma of non-things, for example, when it is established that the Dharma of mirages is empty of water, empty of greenness, and empty of movement, although the consciousness of terms arises depending on mirages, the Dharma of emptiness does not depend on mirages. Even if the sun rises and there are mirages, or the sun sets and the mirages disappear, emptiness has no difference in nature. Similarly, the consciousness of terms arises only depending on things that appear as having characteristics, and the Dharma of self-nature purity does not depend on anything else. Third, Dharma cannot realize Dharma, which means: The great bliss that abides spontaneously, with incomparable wisdom, is awakened from its own power, and Dharma does not arise from others. It is said that the nature of Dharma-nature essence, the nature of Bodhi, the great bliss of Bodhicitta, is not defiled by nature, its own light is clear, and apart from its own knowing and seeing, if Dharma-nature is observed and realized with wisdom, then it will not become Dharma-nature. Like this, there are twenty-three faults. Among the seven obscurations, in the three obscurations of defilement, the first is that the nature of the essence of Bodhi is not elsewhere, but is obscured by defilement, which means: It is easy and difficult, difficult because of defilement, not manifest but pervasive, and can only be indicated by name, Vajrasattva cannot represent it. It is said that the nature of the essence of Bodhi is easy because it is not elsewhere and does not require effort, and it is difficult because it is obscured by defilement and cannot be realized. It is like the boundary of space, not manifest but pervasive. Its nature transcends the speech of characteristics, and can only be indicated by name, Vajrasattva cannot represent it. That's what it says. Second, because it is obscured by defilement,

The need for distinction is shown as follows: 'This is the path of equality of all things, naturally present in all beings. Because of delusion by childish ignorance, like medicine itself seeking a doctor.' This means that although it is naturally so, it is not recognized because it is obscured by ignorance. For example, medicine is by nature a beneficial remedy for diseases, but the one who seeks the medicine is the doctor. Similarly, beings are naturally liberated, but because of ignorance, they do not know this, so there is a need for a virtuous friend to guide them. Therefore, one should rely on a noble virtuous friend. Third, great bliss is without direction or bias, but due to ignorance, the outer world appears to be divided into directions, and the inner world appears to be separated into categories. As it is said: 'In the realm of understanding, there is great bliss, that itself is the pure world. There, the light of directions converges, thus accomplishing the four directions, intermediate directions, above and below. From the uncertain colors of the rainbow, the distinctions of categories clearly appear.' This explains that great bliss is without direction or bias, and all appearances of direction and bias are merely the play and adornment of great wisdom. However, due to ignorance, they also appear as the outer and inner worlds. The term 'convergence of light' refers to the appearance of seemingly established directions in what is not established at all, which is the appearance of the outer world. The term 'rainbow colors' refers to the appearance of seemingly definite distinctions in what is without distinction, which is the appearance of the inner world. In short, on one basis, there appear both a pure world and an impure world. The appearance of impurity is due to being obscured by ignorance. Such a principle is also explained in the Sutras: All the worlds encompassed by the outer and inner environments are without exception Buddha-fields. The dispositions of beings to be tamed are also of two types: the docile and the arrogant. Among them, the docile are Bodhisattvas, and the arrogant are ordinary beings and Hearers (Shravakas). For the sake of taming the docile beings, the Buddhas bless them to appear in pure realms and Sambhogakaya forms. For the sake of taming the arrogant beings, the Buddhas appear in impure realms and as poor and declining Buddhas.
