Just as a ripened aggregate does not arise again. Furthermore, as long as there is the harm of a flood, a boat also performs the function of helping. Once free from the harm of the flood and going to dry land, the boat no longer performs the function of helping. Similarly, as long as there is the harm of negative karma, virtuous karma also helps. When there is no harm from negative karma, virtuous karma also does not help. The Buddha also said that that which is free from all benefit and harm is enlightenment, as it is said: For example, those who want to cross the river and the flood, collect grass and trees, etc., and make a boat to cross the river, board it and cross successfully, then abandon it and leave in peace. Similarly, on the other side of samsara, even after generating the path of Dharma, completely abandoning Dharma and non-Dharma, it is like attaining the bliss of enlightenment. Or, for illusory things, the one who takes out and puts in, therefore he will not have sin, and virtuous deeds are also the same. For those who have no virtuous deeds and sins, it is said to be enlightenment. As it is said, the characteristic of enlightenment, in the definitive sense, is merely the characteristic of the pacification of both sin and virtue. It is also said that enlightenment is the characteristic of peaceful nirvana. In the doctrine of sound, it is also said that nirvana (Tibetan: ཎིརྦ་ན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: निर्वाण, Sanskrit Romanization: nirvāṇa, Chinese literal meaning: extinction) is also the name of the extinguishing of fire, and also the name of the nirvana of a monk. Sanskrit Romanization: nirvāṇo agni, Chinese literal meaning: extinction fire) is the name of the extinguishing of fire, just as saying that fire is extinguished, it is merely the pacification of the characteristic of burning. Nirvana is the name for the state of not going anywhere and not staying anywhere. Sanskrit Romanization: nirvāṇo bhikṣu, Chinese literal meaning: extinction bhikshu) is the name of the nirvana of a monk, just as saying that the burning of the true monk's desire, hatred, and ignorance is pacified, it is called nirvana. Nirvana is the name for the characteristic of not going anywhere and not staying anywhere. Therefore, virtuous karma is also a condition for purifying appearances, but it is not the real cause and

It is not a cause. Nor is it a collection of wisdom. Among them, for the time being, non-conceptual wisdom, relying on the power of lineage and spiritual friends, from the generation of Bodhicitta onwards, accumulating the continuous stream of immeasurable roots of virtue, and focusing on the undeluded Dharmadhatu, although it arises from the power of mindfulness, the nature of wisdom is born in the nature of being free from the conceptualization of grasping and being grasped. Therefore, it is not suitable as a condition for appearance. For example, the fire of the end of the kalpa is not suitable as a condition for the aggregation of manifest actors. Pure worldly wisdom also has the appearance of grasper and grasped, and arises relying on the roots of virtue that are completely pure in the three spheres. Although it arises relying on appearance, its nature is that it has a reversed appearance, but it also has an undeluded view. It is like turning a fire wheel in front of the wise. Therefore, it is also not suitable as a condition. For example, if a fire is lit from a pile of wood, there is wood that is burning, wood that is not burning, and wood that is burning nearby. Although the fire arises relying on the wood, that fire is not the cause of the wood's long-term existence and growth, but exists as the cause of the wood's decay. Similarly, pure worldly wisdom also has the seed of appearance due to the habitual tendencies of grasping from beginningless time, and arises relying on the roots of virtue that are completely pure in the three spheres, thereby understanding all phenomena as illusions and transformations, understanding that their own nature is non-existent, empty of names and reasons, and only arises from cause and condition. Therefore, it is not suitable as a condition for increasing the continuity of appearance. There is not even a little bit of dharma that arises without cause and condition, or that arises from things that are not suitable as cause and condition. Therefore, when the appearance consciousness transforms its basis, no other cause and condition for the arising of pure worldly wisdom can be found. If someone does not wish to arise in the ultimate sense, then it appears to arise as an illusion in the conventional sense.
