It eliminates the view that there is no dependence. Thus, being skilled in the nature of dependent arising, since the result of things also depends on the cause, and the cause also depends on the result, understanding the lack of self-nature, not only eliminates the extremes of permanence and annihilation of externalists, but also, for all phenomena, since no intrinsic nature of an object to be grasped is seen, one realizes the selflessness of external objects, and also abandons the conceptualization of grasping, it should be understood. So, if one understands the profound principle of dependent arising, why does one not realize the selflessness of the grasper and not abandon the conceptualization of grasping? To this, it should be said: The profound Dharma of dependent arising is understood by the Hearers, also understood by the Solitary Buddhas, also understood by the Yogacharas, and also understood by the Madhyamikas, but these principles are not all the same, and the final understanding is not the same. For example, although the Hearers understand dependent arising, by this understanding, they realize the arising and ceasing of the aggregates, and merely eliminate the two extremes, but they do not abandon the manifest clinging to the objects of cause and effect, and to the general and specific characteristics. The Solitary Buddhas, by understanding the principle of dependent arising, on top of that, realize that the objects of cause and effect have no self-nature, and realize that there is no object to be grasped, but the mind of grasping that thinks "it is meaningless" does not arise with the thought of "it is meaningless" and is not abandoned. The Yogacharas, by understanding the principle of dependent arising, on top of that, realize that the nature of the grasped and the grasper has no self-nature, therefore they realize that all phenomena are empty of the two, the grasper and the grasped, like this, mind and mental factors, are not the grasped of anything, nor the grasper of anything, merely self-awareness, arising from causes and conditions of dependent arising, they say that this is established by its own nature, but they do not realize selflessness. The Madhyamikas, by understanding the principle of dependent arising, even realize that self-awareness itself does not obtain the self-nature of the objects of cause and effect, therefore they realize that it is completely beyond all elaboration. Therefore, dependent arising

The reason is that, being skilled in the nature of cause and effect, thereby eliminating wrong views about cause and effect, is a common dharma of all (vehicles). The Hearers, by manifestly clinging to the characteristics of the cause and effect of dharma, thereby eliminate the wrong views of externalists about cause and effect. The Solitary Buddhas, by understanding dependent origination itself more deeply, thereby understand that the reality of cause and effect does not exist even in the ultimate sense. The Yogacharas, by understanding dependent origination itself more deeply, thereby understand that the nature of clinging to the reality of cause and effect does not exist either. The Madhyamikas, by understanding dependent origination itself even more deeply, thereby understand that the nature of the self-knowing reality of cause and effect does not exist either, therefore it is called the complete pacification of all elaborations. Therefore, understanding the principle of cause and effect depends on understanding it roughly and deeply, thereby eliminating wrong views about cause and effect. As it is said, if dependent origination is common to all (vehicles), why is it taught as a special path of the Solitary Buddhas? This is because the Solitary Buddhas do not rely on the words of spiritual friends, but merely seeing the faults and sufferings of samsara becomes a condition for enlightenment, driven by this, and not relying on others, they enter by the power of their own wisdom, and there is no other way than the characteristics of suffering, and examining its cause, and refuting it, and examining the method of refuting it, therefore only these need to be taught as the main thing. Enough with too much elaboration. One should enter the main text, and thus, after teaching the path to be cultivated through the door of dependent origination, the fruit is taught, which is the attainment of the fruit of Solitary Buddha enlightenment. As it is said, like the rhinoceros horn, and practicing in the sangha, from the difference of entering the cause and attaining the fruit, there are four types of individuals. Among them, like the rhinoceros horn, with sharp faculties, not depending on place and time, accumulating merit for a hundred eons, possessing excellent fortune, reaching the end of karma, therefore living alone without dependence, therefore it is called like the rhinoceros horn.
