The land and conduct are: Dull faculties depend on place and time, and do not possess such excellent fortune. Because they rely on others, they dwell in groups and communities, so they are called assemblies and conduct. If asked, "Will they not become teachers to each other?" The answer is, "Because we ourselves are the main ones, there is no teacher. However, it is possible for the blessings of the Tathagata to appear as other conditions." But that is not counted among those who rely on the Buddha, because it does not appear as the Buddha. Such individuals, before the Buddha appeared in the world, in places such as Varanasi (ancient Indian place name), are said to have appeared as self-enlightened Buddhas, possessing swift wisdom and displaying great miracles. The Bodhisattva Vehicle, etc., the Bodhisattva is spoken of from the perspective of the cause, and the result is no different from mantra. Therefore, in order to differentiate by the path, it is said in this way. Among them, all defiled and purified dharmas are without self-nature in the ultimate sense, but in the relative sense, they exist like illusions, without being mixed up. This is explaining the view. Among them, defilement refers to samsara and its causes and effects, because this or by this makes everything defiled, so it is said in this way. Purification is also the same. "Without self-nature in the ultimate sense," the ultimate nature itself refers to the dharmata that is free from elaboration, because the word "meaning" refers to the object, and it is the object of noble wisdom, so it is said in this way. On the other hand, the word "meaning" refers to need, and among all the needs to be obtained, it is the most excellent, so it is said in this way. According to these, although in general they are the same in dharmata, the former refers to the universal Suchness, and the latter refers to the pure dharmata, that is, nirvana. That non-inverted itself is also called the ultimate truth, because for those noble ones who see the truth, it is established as such. This should also be known as the object of non-conceptual wisdom. Among them, there are two kinds of distinctions: nominal ultimate and free-from-elaboration ultimate. Among them, nominal

所谓世俗的自性是:与显现相伴的错乱的意识,也就是梵文词语“Samvrita(梵文天城体:संवृत,梵文罗马拟音:saṁvṛta,汉语字面意思:覆盖)”,其中“Sam”是“Samaka(梵文天城体:समक,梵文罗马拟音:samaka,汉语字面意思:相同)”,意为真实,“bhrita”是遮蔽的意思,所以说是真实遮蔽。 或者,“Sam”是“Samata(梵文天城体:समता,梵文罗马拟音:samata,汉语字面意思:平等)”,意为一切,“bhrita”是虚假的词语。

The ultimate truth is: the object of mind where some elaborations are cut off and some are not. For example, the eighteen emptinesses and so on, the meanings of words to be shown by the terms of ultimate truth. The ultimate truth free from elaborations is: the nature of all elaborations being completely pacified. If that is the case, then no nature of things is established, so it is called no self-nature in the ultimate truth. This is the way to establish it by relying on the scriptures. According to the way of establishing it by reasoning, there is no self-nature in the ultimate truth. "Ultimate" is the ultimate of mind, that is, the ultimate of the wisdom of truly distinguishing, which is called the ultimate of intelligence. In that realm, no self-nature of things that can be established is established, so it is called no self-nature in the ultimate truth, or no self-nature in the ultimate meaning. The self-nature of what is called conventional is: the deluded consciousness accompanied by appearance. That is, the Sanskrit word "Samvrita," where "Sam" is "Samaka," meaning true, and "bhrita" means to obscure, so it is said to be true obscuration. In this way, the deluded mind itself obscures the mind itself, hindering the seeing of the true meaning, so it is called true obscuration. Therefore, the appearance of consciousness is called conventional. Or, "Sam" is "Samata," meaning all, and "bhrita" is a false word. In this way, from learned pandits to foolish cowherds, everyone agrees that they are deceived and speculated by sudden deluded consciousness, and thus they are distinguished and established, but they are not the original meaning that has not been transformed, not speculated, not confused, so it is called conventional. Therefore, the meaning of appearance is conventional, and the deluded consciousness is called conventional. The scope of conventional is: everything that is apparent, that is the object of consciousness accompanied by intention, and everything that is expressed in words and letters, should be known as conventional. This is recognized in the minds of ordinary people, and is only true in name, so it is also called conventional truth. This should also be understood by adding "consciousness is the object of deluded consciousness." There are two types of classification: true conventional and false conventional.
