At that time, it is not any dharma, but from the door of self-awareness of knowing and the door of appearing various confused dharmas, it is said to be the dominating condition, but not the causal condition. When showing that it arises from all dharmas, it is said that the noble Manjushri arises from the power of dharmas with defilements, but it is not said that it is the causal condition. Therefore, one should not declare the names from those aspects. The special display of undefiled dharma is just the opposite of those. From having the nature of undefiled dharma, and relying on dharma, and being embraced and blessed by dharma, names are also declared. These are from the aspect of declaring from the display of the names of all dharmas as the name of the noble Manjushri, showing that defiled dharma and undefiled dharma can be commonly declared names, and declaring and not declaring from the aspect of difference. Just these briefly show which of its names are what. In detail, the names shown in this treatise itself, divided into branches and near branches, are its names. Now, the way to declare it accurately will be explained, and there are three ways. What are the three? Like this, the way of declaring from the name as the meaning of merit, the way of declaring from the name as the meaning of mantra, and the way of declaring from the name as the meaning of non-duality. Among them, how to declare from the name as the meaning of merit? Here, any son of a lineage or daughter of a lineage, who generates the mind of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, enters the gate of the Great Vehicle, and has knowledge and faith in the Buddha, should first say: The Bhagavan Manjushri Wisdom Hero is the great essence of all the Tathagatas of the ten directions, possessing the perfect qualities of all of them, the compassion and activities of all the Buddhas are continuous, accomplishing the intentions of all the Buddhas in the endless expanse of space, and the activity is fulfilling all the hopes of all sentient beings without remainder.

Conduct: Always abiding before all sentient beings. Therefore, whoever recites this name, reciting the names of all Buddhas for as many kalpas as there are sands in the Ganges River, cannot be compared to it. Manifest with joyful faith and devout reverence. Moreover, in order to accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings, one should recite. With the intention propelled by aspiration, generate the mind of enlightenment and then recite the name. Furthermore, by the power of devotion, one should fix one's attention in this way: The Lord Manjushri Wisdom Hero, possessing such qualities, is the wisdom that knows all aspects, and the master of great compassion and love. Because he always abides before all those to be tamed, whether I visualize his special form before me or not, he always abides before me. To offer praise to him, I shall recite his name with a mind free from distraction. Otherwise, although the nature of the Lord is such, if I visualize his excellent and special form in my mind, he will bless the complete accomplishment of the benefit of myself and others. Knowing this, in the sky in front of me, in the shade of a great wish-fulfilling tree of jewel essence, which is emanated from my own mind, on a jewel lotus seat and a lunar disc, abides the Lord Manjushri Youth, his body color like saffron sprinkled on a snow mountain, wearing various garments, holding a blooming blue lotus in his left hand, and granting the supreme gift with his right hand. Think of him as adorned with all ornaments like a universal monarch. To manifest his qualities, recite his name with undistracted attention. Alternatively, the body color and hand implements are scripture, sword, teaching the Dharma, etc., and the color of the moon and the color of pure gold, etc., visualize as you like. After completing the offering and praise, pray for the desired meaning, request him to go to the pure realm, and then arise. Or, by the power of taming, one should think like this: The Lord himself should be thought of as before.

Above... Visualize the Blessed One Shakyamuni Buddha and all the Buddhas of the ten directions abiding in the manner of renunciates. To their right, visualize Bodhisattvas such as Maitreya, Samantabhadra, Avalokiteshvara, Vajrapani, Kshitigarbha, Akashagarbha, and Sarvanivaranaviskambhin, the Bodhisattvas of the Good Aeon, abiding in the manner of householders, without abandoning their adornments. To their left, visualize the venerable Shariputra, Maudgalyayana, Subhuti, Ananda, and so forth, the great Arhats, abiding in the manner of renunciates. Below them, visualize the sons of the gods, such as the great Lord of Power, the gods of the Pure Abodes, and the sons of the gods who dwell in the realm of form, including the great Brahma, adorned with all kinds of ornaments, and Indra and the gods of the Thirty-three, adorned with all kinds of ornaments. In front of them, I prostrate and generate the mind of great enlightenment through the door of aspiration endowed with the seven branches, including offerings. For the sake of offering to all of them, I shall recite the names of the Blessed Ones. The Tathagatas are on thrones of vajra jewels, on lotus jewels, and on seats of sun and moon mandalas, in the meditative posture and with the mudra of meditation and the mudra of teaching the Dharma. The Bodhisattvas are on lotus jewels and moon mandalas, in the half-lotus posture with the left foot lowered, with their respective emblems and the mudra of listening to the Dharma. The great Shravakas are to be visualized on lotus jewel seats in the manner of listening to the Dharma. The sons of the gods are with their respective vehicles and emblems, or all are on jewel thrones, all in the manner of listening to the Dharma. After the offerings are complete, confess and request the desired meaning, request them to depart to their respective fields and abodes, and then arise. There is no need to invite them, for blessing comes from mere thought.
