It is the basis of the oral instructions, therefore it is called the general meaning of the oral instructions. Among them, not understanding without examination refers to ordinary worldly people and non-Buddhists, because they do not examine the nature of the cause and effect of the Dharma. Erroneously understanding refers to those who hold to permanence and annihilation and non-Buddhist practitioners, because they erroneously understand the nature of dependent origination of the Dharma, clinging to the views of permanence and annihilation. Partially understanding refers to the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, because they have not understood that all phenomena are without self. Not truly understanding refers to the Mahayana Paramita doctrine, although they want to understand that all phenomena are without self, they do not truly understand the equality of intention, the equality of conduct, and the Bodhicitta that is the essence of the two-in-one, but rather take and abandon the Dharma from a one-sided perspective. Regarding this doctrine, the scriptures also say: "Although the meaning is one, there is no confusion, Because there are many methods and no difficulties, Relying on the sharpness of the faculties, The tantric teachings are particularly superior." Like this, it is explained that there is a one-sided obscuration of confusion in the Paramita doctrine. Other scriptures also say: "The object of focus is completely pure, The power of companions and the realm of conduct, The vehicle of the wise, Is universally praised as the greatest of the great." This also explains that there is an impurity of the object of focus in the Paramita doctrine. Other scriptures also say: "Among paths, the near path is the greatest, Among methods, the infallible is supreme, Among wisdoms, wisdom is extraordinary." In any case, the tantric doctrine is the greatest of the great in terms of method and wisdom, therefore, saying "not truly understanding" means that from the perspective of both wisdom and method, there is an aspect of obscuration. It is not spoken from the perspective of a one-sided branch, which is obvious. The Vinaya is the Kriya Tantra, like this, the actions included in body and speech, and the taking and abandoning of actions and non-actions are the main characteristics, therefore it has obtained the name Vinaya. Moreover, in this very tantra, in the chapter on painting, it is also said: "One should act according to the Vinaya ritual." Therefore, the Kriya Tantra appears as action. The intention is true.

The Yoga Tantra, for what reason? Abhiprayam (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) is called thinking, it is the function of the mind. One-pointed thinking is samadhi, therefore, in the context of the Yoga Tantra, it is also said that yoga is to rejoice in all mudras. Therefore, view and yoga are not different. Secret is the Great Yoga, because the secret of body, speech, and mind appears as form, and it is not the object of those who view it as a real thing and those who have a large part of attachment. Because it is extremely secret, it is said so. Even if it is generally summarized in the manner of Great Yoga, there is also a way to enter into the meaning of spontaneously accomplished Great Perfection from the perspective of the difference in ability. Because there are also cases where it is said to be the object of practice in the excellent way of spontaneous entry. Therefore, it is said, the meaning of the secret of nature, etc. Now, in order to indicate the source of the oral instructions, it is said: Relying on the collection of letters, sounds, and names, well expressed by words, revealing the meaning hidden from within, the Vajra Master dwells in the heart. Here, the source of the oral instructions is the Vajra Acharya, and he also relies on the collection of letters, names, and words to show and reveal the meaning that dwells therein, thus connecting them. In this way, here, the author who shows and reveals the oral instructions is the Vajra Acharya who possesses the oral instructions of the heart. The action is the collection of letters, names, and words. The source is also the nature of these, the collection of scriptures. The meaning to be revealed and indicated is hidden and concealed. In this regard, summarizing from the common meaning mentioned above, the meanings that are difficult to understand by nature are the hidden secrets. The meanings that should not be shown and proclaimed in the practice of ordinary people are the concealed secrets. In short, relying on letters, names, and words, the meaning of the scriptures should be shown and revealed by the lama. In this regard, letters are the ultimate part of the names, such as short a, etc. Phonetic notation is that all letters are covered by the manifestation of a, so the letters of a and ka, etc., accomplish the name. The collection of letters of the name only represents the nature of the meaning of all phenomena and leads to it.
