So it is said. In the Vajra Heart Ornament Tantra, it is said that the twelve stages of Buddhahood are known as the two, skillful means and wisdom, which are known as the five families and the five wisdoms. Therefore, it is evident that all the laws of the result are included in these. Now, for the sake of those who cannot meditate on many deities, in order to show that meditating on one deity is also meditating on all the Buddhas, it is said: "In the pure realm of space, the sun and moon, meditate on the posture of the King of Wisdom. All the mandalas of the Victorious Ones, will be meditated on without exception." So it is said. In the uncommon vehicle's scriptures, it is said that the Buddhas, the Bhagavad Ones, have no difference in nature and activity, even though they have different tantras, different fields, different times, and different methods. Now, in order to show the Buddha's own nature, it is said: "From whatever time or direction, a perfect Buddha cannot be found. Mind itself is the perfect Buddha, do not seek a Buddha elsewhere." So it is said. Like this, what is called Buddha is the way the nature of mind exists, that is Buddha. Do not differentiate by place and time, such as saying that in a certain world realm, there is a certain Buddha who is the teacher of gods and humans, and he is living there, and so on. Or, in the mindstream of a certain person, there is the essence of bodhicitta, and relying on the power of a virtuous friend, practicing the conduct of bodhicitta, at some time, from cause to effect, he will become a Buddha, and so on. Like this, those who seek a Buddha by differentiating by place and time will not find it, because the nature of sentient beings themselves is Buddha. Like this, if we understand according to the Mahayana Two Truths scriptures, we will also say that the mind is conventional and like an illusion. Moreover, the Yogacharas believe that both the grasped and the grasper are empty. In this way, this mere self-awareness, merely existing like an illusion, and the wisdom of the noble ones, also have no difference in nature. If we consider the appearance due to the power of habit, we can only obtain the momentary appearance of the mind, and apart from that, no other dharma can be obtained. Some say that

Do not seek the Buddha's realm elsewhere than in the pure original text. Do not seek the Buddha elsewhere! This is said because it does not refer to sentient beings who possess the Buddha-nature. If the very nature of mind is Buddha, then by what means can it be manifested? By skillfully combining in the mandala, all mandalas will be accomplished. This is said because, as mentioned above, it is originally the mandala of the deities. Through wisdom and samadhi, it will be accomplished by combining in this way. For example, when a speckled rope is mistaken for a snake, if one abandons the thought of it being a snake and takes and uses it as a rope, one will not be deceived in accomplishing one's own benefit. If one possesses such conditions, even if there are additions or omissions in the subtle rituals, it will not become an obstacle to the attainment of siddhis. Therefore, even if the rituals are added to or incomplete, faults will be purified and there will be no transgression. This is what is meant by this. Chapter Twelve ends. Chapter Thirteen is called the Chapter of Secret Instructions. From the nine objects of the tantra, the secret is condensed into the mandala of bodhicitta. From all that should be learned, condensing the meaning into the instructions themselves is the one thing to be learned. According to the difference in the level of ability, it is the teaching of the spontaneously accomplished mandala of Atiyoga, complete with rituals, qualities, and seals. To teach this, "Then," and so on, are mentioned. Among them, "united as one" is to teach the essence of the instructions of all Buddhas. All dharmas are spontaneously accomplished in the Great Perfection from the beginning, which refers to the nature that is originally Buddha, without needing to be transformed or accomplished through paths and antidotes. The samaya is extremely secret because this instruction is the domain of the Buddhas. The arrangement of clouds is because it is itself the mandala of the ornament of qualities. First, to teach the general meaning of the instructions, it is said: "Non-realization and wrong realization, partial realization and non-realization of truth, discipline, intention, and secret, and the meanings of the secret of nature." This is to say that, through the difference in the level of ability, one should also realize these meanings according to the capacity of one's own intelligence, so that they are not inverted.
