The explanation of this is: Wisdom examines the four directions and the center, and the mandala is naturally accomplished. The yogi who has realized the Great Perfection uses all arising phenomena as a great mandala. This is what is said. Therefore, the yogi who has realized the meaning of the Great Perfection uses all that is known as the Dharma of arising as a great mandala that is naturally accomplished. The so-called Dharma of arising refers to those that are included in the five aggregates of grasping, which are known as the Dharma with defilements. How it itself becomes a great mandala is as described above. Regarding the color and shape of the mandala, it is as stated in "The wheel has four spokes and a rim," and so on. The way the deities reside is as stated in "Complete on the seat and in the form of a Bodhisattva." Among them, the main deity and the consort reside in the complete lotus posture, not acting in any way like a great king. The Bodhisattvas and Bodhisattva consorts reside in the Bodhisattva posture, like great ministers, loving all as if they were their only child. The wrathful deities and wrathful consorts reside in the posture of giants, like generals, subduing external and internal things as a hunter sees prey. The great Thubpas reside in a standing posture, symbolizing that they benefit beings without stopping for even a moment. To explain where they reside, it is said, "Wheel King, Wheel Mother," and so on. By saying "acting in front and behind," although Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri are the creators of the mandala, they reside in the corridor like diviners. This is the common saying of the U-Tsang region. They reside in the very center of the palace. This is the common saying of the Kham region, and it is also what our lama says. The vajra wheel, jewel, and so on, these hand implements, the first on the right hand holds their respective symbols, the first on the left hand holds the bell, and the others are arranged in order. The consorts only have bells. As in "soft, supple, entwined, and youthful," and so on, is an explanation of the deities' postures. Among them, the five postures of softness, etc., are the Buddha Mothers.

These are the ways of the Buddhas. That is, among external objects, there are differences such as being soft and not being hard. Being clear, shining, majestic, and possessing splendor is the way of the Fathers. Being entwined with burning chains are the Wrathful Ones and Wrathful Mothers. In such a nature, spreading without limit or center, the inconceivable mandala is naturally accomplished. Thus it is said. 'The great supreme mudra of the body,' and so on, is known as 'འཕྱོང་.' Teacher Rinchen the Great took it from other illusions and placed it in various places. Tsugru Rinchen Zhonnu divided 'འཕྱོང་' into two types, with and without patterns, and it has been transmitted in that way. So it is said. As for how the Buddha's body appears to those to be tamed, at that time, to all six types of beings, it manifests as the form of abandoning evil. Thus it is said. Among them, ordinary beings see the form of abandoning evil as ascetics and Brahmins. Hearers see Arhats and those who have abandoned as the same. Solitary realizers see it as the form of a rhinoceros. If one does not rely on a virtuous friend, how will it be? Because they are seen only as friends, each is the master. To Mahayana Bodhisattvas, in Akanishta, the body of glorious Vairochana appears, appearing to teach the Dharma through the body. The way of teaching the Dharma through the body is also the inconceivable activity of the Buddha. For example, in the realm of stacked incense, when Bodhisattvas dwell near a great incense tree, merely by smelling the fragrance of the tree, the door of liberation, Samadhi, arises in the continuum of the Bodhisattva. Likewise, in some places by eating food, in some places by wearing Dharma robes, in some places by seeing the Buddha's body, in some places by dreaming, and so on, there are those who accomplish the Buddha's activities, so it is inconceivable. The appearance of the Sambhogakaya is said to be from the first to the tenth bhumis. The appearance of the Nirmanakaya is said to appear from the Shravaka and Adhimukti-charya bhumis down to the seventh bhumi.
