Moreover, in the realms of the Paranirmitavasavartin gods and other higher realms, rains of various jewels will fall from clouds of jewel-like nature. Similarly, various siddhis will arise from the samadhi of the magical arts of letters. And first, the letters become stable as they are, and then they are transformed into various desired meanings, and thus it will be accomplished. Among these, first, in order to show that the supreme siddhi is accomplished in the mandala of the Buddhas themselves, it says, "The magical mandala of forty-two," and so on. To show that the great common siddhi is accomplished through it, it says, "Becoming nectar and arising," and so on. Similarly, "Attracting and sending," and so on, are subtle activities. To show how the siddhi is accomplished, it says, "That is the self-manifestation of wisdom," and so on. For example, through light and the elixir of transmuting gold, and the essence of medicine, darkness and various kinds of iron and poisons are removed, and they are transformed into sacred objects, just as without abandoning bad things, it shows that without abandoning the dharmas that have become the place of suffering, they are transformed into various siddhis. In short, the phenomena that appear as various things are merely manifestations of the mind, so it should be known that there is no need to transform the essence and bless it. "Teacher offering diligence," and so on, shows the extent of accomplishment. "Buddhas of the three times," and so on, shows that the supreme siddhi is the realization of bodhicitta. "From nothingness," and so on, shows that the main cause of siddhi is samadhi. "Who does not understand the objectless," and so on, in order to show well that the main factor of siddhi is bodhicitta itself, it shows the four ways of bodhicitta. That is, first, the characteristic of desiring enlightenment for the benefit of sentient beings is the aspiring bodhicitta; the characteristic of fully practicing the paramitas from the three doors is the entering bodhicitta; abiding with firm faith, and being Suchness

The nature of abiding, which manifests meaning, is the abiding Bodhicitta, and it possesses the nature of arising great compassion (in the Dzogchen Shingpar, there is a gap between this and the next sentence. In the other version, the word "arising" was later erased by a comment. Therefore, I suspect that it should also be "arising" here). This is called Bodhicitta. Here, first, the nature of realizing Bodhicitta is explained, which is entering Bodhicitta; second, the nature of showing how the nature of Bodhicitta is, which is abiding Bodhicitta; third, the nature of possessing the qualities of Bodhicitta, which is arising Bodhicitta; and fourth, the nature of showing how to make Bodhicitta manifest, which is aspiring Bodhicitta. These have all been explained. Among them, first, the method of realization is explained, which is "Whoever does not know the unconditioned meaning," etc. For example, whoever does not know how to enter the wisdom free from objects into all phenomena, that person does not know the meaning of the purity of all phenomena. Therefore, whatever mind clings to existence or clings to non-existence, if that mind is not established and perishes, then one should know the meaning of the unconditioned. This is its meaning. Second, how is the nature of Bodhicitta, which is "The nature of mind without root," etc. Because the nature of mind is completely unestablished, it will not become any nature, it is nothing. This is its meaning. Third, the explanation of qualities, which is "Suchness realm is wisdom," etc. All that appears as realms and sources that have not moved from the purity of all phenomena, all self-arise as the mandala of the play of wisdom. Since there is nothing that has not been sealed by the mudra of Samantabhadra, there is no dharma to be abandoned. This is its meaning. In this way, the extreme of clinging to existence and the extreme of clinging to annihilation are also refuted. Fourth, how to make it manifest, which is "Whoever has a mind like a drunken elephant," etc.

It is said that, for example, untamed and intoxicated elephants often dwell in unpleasant places, wander in unpleasant realms, and engage in unpleasant actions, such as destroying their own houses and killing sentient beings. The minds of sentient beings are also like this, often dwelling in unpleasant places, clinging to the notion of 'self' as a place of refuge, wandering in unpleasant realms, clinging to the notion of characteristics as a realm of activity, and engaging in unpleasant actions, manifesting the suffering of samsara and the lower realms. If that elephant is well tamed by a skilled elephant trainer of suitable age, with the help of a hammer and a hook, the elephant will become docile, able to secure its own battle lines and destroy the enemy's camp, possessing great qualities. Similarly, if the mind is tamed by the samadhi that unites shamatha and vipassana, and with the help of the steadfastness of the five branches of recitation, such as mantras and mudras, it will become stable and able to attain the siddhis of body, speech, and mind. This is the meaning. Among them, the five branches of recitation are: the suchness of oneself, the suchness of the deity, the suchness of the secret mantra, the suchness of the recitation, and the suchness of absorption and emanation. Among them, according to the Kriya and Outer Yoga, oneself and the deity are also considered to be two, and the recitation with its object and branches is gathered by the three with the mind of enlightenment. Here, it is merely a manifestation of samadhi, and it is not clung to as having different natures. These are also taught at the time of supreme accomplishment. Chapter Five. Now, in order to teach the mandala, which is the basis and means of accomplishment, it is said, "Then," and so on. In all ten directions of the six worlds, wishing to manifest his own great mandala, it is said that the non-nature of the mandala is blessed, transformed into another nature, or those natures are fully revealed and come into its realm, or it is not born from its cause, but is shown to be enlightened in the spontaneously accomplished mandala.
