Furthermore, A is the door of no birth; by the limb of samadhi that is unborn, one overcomes the Mara of the Lord of Death. Similarly, Bha is the door of non-discrimination; by that limb, one overcomes the Mara of the Son of the Gods. Ra is the door of freedom from Mara; by that limb, one overcomes the Mara of Afflictions. Hum is the door of indestructibility; by that limb, one overcomes the Mara of the Aggregates. Kham is the door of the nature like space; it is the general nature of that very samadhi that overcomes the four Maras. Like this, the samadhi of the Great Hero itself is blessed as the name of letters, and from the door of names, it accomplishes the deeds of the Buddha. The way of doing it from the door of shape and color is: A is the mandala of the earth of Alaya, and having been blessed as yellow in color and square in shape, it is combined with the activity and accomplishment of increase. Similarly, Bha is the mandala of the water of Varuna, and it accomplishes the benefit of beings in the form of white color and round shape. Ra is the mandala of the fire of Ravi, in the form of a red triangle. Hum is the mandala of the wind of Vayu, in the form of a black crescent. Kham is in the form of the nature of space. Like this, the samadhi itself is blessed as shape and color, and it is the way of accomplishing the deeds of the Buddha. Similarly, it can also be combined with all the letters of mantra, just as it is said from the subtle discriminations. Thus, since the deeds of the Buddha are accomplished by the activity and qualities of the letters, the letters can be considered Buddhas, but how can forty-two letters perfect countless Buddhas? Therefore, it is said: Those who have passed away in the ten directions and four times, The body, speech, and mind of the Wisdom Bodhisattvas, The very nature of the forty-five mandalas, Complete from the beginning letter to Ksha. Thus it is said, in the realms of the ten directions, countless sentient beings of various kinds, various bodies, various places, various realms of activity, various elements and latent tendencies and thoughts, all are included in just the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, and similarly, all the countless Buddhas are also the six realms.

The forty-two mandalas encompassed by... , and the means and wisdom, and those encompassed by the inseparability of the two, are all gathered here. The letters are complete from 'ཨ་' to 'ཀྵ'. Thus it is said. Now, in order to explain the definition of letters, from 'The nature of mind is called letters' to 'Because it is written with the sphere in the sphere, therefore it is called letters' are all explained. Among them, what is commonly known in common treatises is "Akshara (藏文,梵文天城体:अक्षर,梵文罗马拟音:akṣara,汉语字面意思:不灭)", because letters, unlike things, have only one name each, and do not change into multiple names, therefore they are called letters. Also, "Vyanjana (藏文,梵文天城体:व्यञ्जन,梵文罗马拟音:vyañjana,汉语字面意思:清晰者)" means to clarify and guide, because it clarifies names and words. "Varna (藏文,梵文天城体:वर्ण,梵文罗马拟音:varṇa,汉语字面意思:颜色)" means expression, because it relies on names and words to express meaning. Here, the mind is also like a letter, from a state of no self-nature, various illusory miracles and accomplishments arise and are accomplished, which is the wisdom and samadhi that clarifies meaning. In this way, in its realm, the self-appearing letters of wisdom become clear, therefore it is said, 'Because it is written with the sphere in the sphere, therefore it is called letters.' Now, the union of deities and letters is explained. First, in order to explain the universally applicable letters and the three mandalas, it is said, 'Mgo (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:头) is the unerring path, Tig (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:滴) is called the name of wisdom, Shad (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:线) is the mark of cutting off great means.' Here, the names, meanings, and functions of the three letters are explained. The three names are: Mgo (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:头) is, Tig (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:滴) is, Shad (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:线) is. Among them, Mgo (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:头) is like the trunk of an elephant. Tig (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:滴) is like the eye of the great Ishvara. Shad (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:线) is like a long arrow. Thus, the three meanings of these three names are: unerring, wisdom, great means. Among them, the meaning of the elephant's trunk is: Astri-linga (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:) is the nature of the mantra. From the perspective of the name, it also shows the meaning of the union of means and wisdom without error, and from the perspective of the shape of the elephant's trunk-like hook, it also shows the mudra of the mantra. The meaning of the eye of the great Ishvara is: Ah (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:) is the complete cutting off of Nirvana, showing transcendence beyond characteristics.
